| Wonderful chapter! I have been anxiously awaiting all week!
It was very nice to see Severus freaking out a bit. Even though he has to reveal himself and his plan to her at some point, I get the feeling that he will play along with Hermione if she continues to plead ignorance as to the Calleo/Severus link. He had the upper hand in the beginning but now he is really at her mercy. He knows the threat is there for her to never see him again. When she finds out the plan, she will feel manipulated. She might help them escape but any feelings for him will be buried. Will we get to see Ron being a prat and opening her "divorce" books? I fear about that. She is really in trouble isn't she? Oh please update soon! I cannot wait! Author's Response: Glad I gave you something to look forward to, ever happier that I did not disappoint. Yeah, Severus is entitled to freak out a bit, he hasn't had a real date life in, like.....ever. Guys, no matter their bravado, as still pretty insecure about themselves. Besides, if he fucks this up, Draco will have just cause to blame him for screwing up their escape plans. Hermione will not hide her books from Ron, just her sample package from the twins. | Ahhhh a cliffie! A particularly evil one too, because I've been looking forward to this confrontation for... 2 chapters now? Oh but drama is sure to ensue in Chapter 41, unless Severus or Hermione die of anxiety in the next 30 seconds. Awesome chapter, as usual! Author's Response: LOL! MUWAHAHAHA! You know, normally I'm a very nice person, but as soon as I start writing fanfic, I become this evil person. Hmmmm, Hermione or Severus die? Hmmm, that certainly would make this a very angsty fic. | argh! the suspense is killing me. Very smart of Hermione to notify Lavender, but continuing to maintain the secret. I can't wait to see what she says when they finally meet. In some ways I just wish that Severus would come out and tell her himself. I suppose that would be out of character though. Author's Response: The suspense is killing you? Oh dear. | This is not the sort of thing one just happens to randomly overhear at a social function. *giggle* That is exactly what happened. As usual, your chapter has left me wanting more. Gee, thanks for the lemons - you had my hopes up for a bit. But, they still have piqued my curiosity; what links do the lemons have to Hermione's dilemma (or Snape's)?

| (no need to reply to this one.. but I obviously meant chapter 42.. hate it when I do that) Author's Response: No, you are correct. Chapter 41 is the next chapter. Because chapter 37 was so long I had to split it, the numbering of the chapters is now asynchronous with the actual chapters. So chapter 41 will show up numberically as 42. | |||
