| I really loved this chapter, Betz! You can totally see Severus & Hermione basically on opposite sides of the wall satisfying themselves. The tension is becoming quite unbearable! LOL! I am soooo ready for Ron to leave! So, what name did he mutter? :-D Oooo, loved the pink nailpolish as well...definately a nice touch! The pic was very cute! Don't keep me waiting too long! ~Ginny Author's Response: Yes, the tension is getting to be a bit...intense. Don't worry, it'll get more intense. Yes, Ithink we're all ready for Ron to leave...but that's not going to happen soon enough. What did ROn utter? Only Ron knows. ;-) Well, I do to, but I'm not telling. | I've been enjoying this story from the beginning but now I am suddenly struck by how utterly dense Hermione is for not knowing thar Calleo is her often despised Potions Professor of 7 years! What about his voice, body language, skin tone, mannerisms...why doesn't she recognize these things? Author's Response: Why is Hermione so thick? Because she already convinced herself that Calleo and Professor Snape could not be the same person. Chapter 26 which is in the validation queue discusses part of this, but the truth is, her memroy of Severus is a characture of a snarling scarcrow...taller, thinner, meaner. Severus is now not quite as pale, as noted in an earlier chapter, as he no longer lives in a dungeon and works in a sub-basement room. Calleo is courteous, patient and attentive, something Hemrione knows Severus Snape is not. So with that candidate crossed off her list immediately, she cannot imagine who Calleo could be. In a way, she doesn't want to know. Her curiosity has been a burden and bane to her recently. She is discovering that ignorance can be bliss at times. Why ruin a good thing by over analyzing. Hope that clears things up for you. | |||

| This story is amazing! I cam across it by accident and I'm so glad I did!I've always been wary of gigolo challenge fics as they tend to be a bit on the naff side, but this is brilliant! Keep it up and update soon! Author's Response: Yes, the challenge does inspire insta-smut. But I'm taking the long slow angst filled road to smutville for my own challenge answer. | I never would have realized the 'I'm just a gigolo' challenge had any merit, and honestly, I don't like the idea of Snape being a man for hire and Hermione falling it. If they are going to have sex, make them do it in a plausable way. However, I've sidestepped your story countless times, dismissing it...until I sat down and read it all in it's entirety. I am so foolish! This is fantastic! I love the way you make my expectations fly out the window and weave such a lovely tale. I enjoy reading the conflict between Ron and Hermione (evil am I) and the exchanges between her and Snape/Calleo. I love the plot you've developed explaining how Snape and Draco ended up where they are, and especially how Hermione's life has turned out. I'm hooked and dying to read the next chapter! Happy writing!

I have written a few smutlettes for WIKTT to inspire people to take up my gigolo challenge. I will post them, but they are kind of PWP to encourage people of the possibilities of the challenge. I am pleased you are enjoying my fic so much. I hope I can live up to the expectations I feel you have for this fic and not disappoint you. I'm trying. | This is a fantastic story. I really love the way you are building up the relationship between Hermione and Severus. I feel somewhat sorry for Harry though (but not that much - I'd pick Draco over Harry any day!). You have got Ron perfectly characterised. This is one of my all time favourite HP fics. Look forward to the next chapter as and when! Author's Response: Well, Harry thought that Ginny loved him when she didn't in the way he wanted. It's rather sad for all involved. Ron is kind of an uber prat in this, but sometimes the frogs we kiss are not princes in the least. It's your favorite? Wow...thanks. I promise an update next week, come hell or high water. | |||

| It always truly amazes me how much work and research you seem to do for each chapter. It makes a difference when the author is really involved in their work, the devotion shines through in the writing. Keep it up, wonderful job. Author's Response: Thank you. I try to write something that is not pure drivel, but actually has a little thought behind it. It's not anything worthy of assigning in a literature class, but I'm trying my best. However, I should be getting a few chapters back from my 2nd beta very soon (hours/days). My betas have jobs, I don't.
