| I'm not done the chapter, but "corealis" should be "Coriolis". That is if you mean the force arising from centripetal rotation on an object extended at a distance from the center of rotation. Which I don't understand how that works in this instance. But the whirlpool imagery is an interesting play of physics on magic... as opposed to the chemistry that most people write about. I'll write again when I finish the chapter. Author's Response: Actually, it can be spelled both ways. I checked. So I used the spelling I remember from my college physical geography class. Yes, I do mean the clockwise and counter-clockwise rotation of the earth's clouds and ocean currants. I used it for the visial imagery one sees when stirring, and also the sort of metaphorical imagery that one can see the whole world and it's secrets in a cauldron. | |||

| Trevor Spawn is really a nasty piece of work. Does something rather lovely happen to him later on? Something to make us feel better for Hermione having to subjected to the moron, perhaps? :-) So, I know that next chapter is Thursday night....does it go beyond that? How does "marriage counseling" go for the Weasley's? Is Hermione going to come off of her high-horse and see that she can't condemn Ginny? *sigh* VERY impatiently waiting for more. Author's Response: Yes, Trevor is a slimeball. We'll see if he gets his comeupance...or if fate is unjust and nothing happens to him. We'll see. ;-) Yes, ch30 is "date night". Something could happen...or nothing. You know where to look for a first peek. (tee-hee) Marriage counseling will go...interestingly. | |||

| Oh... I didn't know there actually was a Portobello Road... I thought it was a throw back to Bedknobs and Broomsticks. Author's Response: Yes, there is a real Portobello Road. But I was so little when I saw Bedknobs and Broomsticks, I don't even remember the mention of it. I don't even remember the film. | |||

| Thanks for the advice on Portobello Road -- I'll keep my Saturday free when I go in October. I also like Severus' pessimism, and yes, it is quite in character. Wonderful chapter, as always -- you give us such satisfyingly long chapters, with tons of stuff to read in each one. Your attention to detail is amazing. Bravo, Betz! Author's Response: I like Severus' pessimism too. To not have it would seem uncanon. More on his attitude in chapter 31. Yes, I love to read long chapters, so I try to write long chapters or at least pack as much story within the 11,000 word chapter limit.. I'm glad you're enjoying all the detail. I just hope since this is a WIP I don't drop a plot line. Thanks! | |||

I'm just taking anticipation to a new level...though I'm probably not the first to make Hermione and Severus wait so long before shagging. If you want smut, then I recommend rereading chapter 3 to tide you over for now until chapter 31 comes out. | |||
