When I began to read the new chap, I wondered if I´ve missed one – Hermione thinking of Severus as Severus and not as Calleo or Snape, rushing into him like an old, good friend, completely at ease with him: now, that´s a remarkable change there! Two evenings in one chapter - you are gaining quite a speed with the ongoings! Not that I´m really complaining (the anniversary dinner will follow sooner as expected), I was simply used to your detailed descriptions. I like the atmosphere here, that there isn´t only emotional and sexual tension, but also friendly care on quite a familiar level. Every time immensely interesting is your profound research for the effect of the different herbs. There also seems to emerge a new possibility for Hermione to earn her living, without the dependence on the offer of Fred&George, or the apprenticeship, or Lovely Lavender. Perhaps not totally without Lavender, because she owns the distribution ways and a well-known market name, but she could do it without being her employee. An advantage, I think. Now I look forward to the day / evening in the spa and Severus attempt to “see” her there. Author's Response: There was the dinner where Hermione was in the kitchen and came to realize that they are on such terms, it's rediculus to think of him as "Snape." Well, I wanted to speed things up and not rehash what happens at their meetings so much. Yes, a new Potion for thast time of the month would be a little revenue generator for Hermione. But you'll have to wait and see if she does do anything with that idea. More on the way. | |||

| Wow – two meetings in one chapter; thanks; a nice Thanksgiving Day present.
An enthusiastic welcoming hug, Hermione breathing in his scent to relax!?! That opening caught by surprise. Hermione and Severus must have allowed themselves to get comfortable with the idea of being in love. The whole chapter makes me feel warm all over, though I’ll admit to slightly missing the long paragraphs of anxious internal reflection and anticipation that you write so excruciatingly well! I love the image of the “dog rolling on the summer grass:” moments of simple joy & exultation free from judgment. The mirror is inspired, showing both contentment and desire to be with him; what a compliment for Severus, besides allowing us to be voyeurs. I’m happy with your pace, and I’ll retract my statement from two reviews ago that the UST is getting hard to take. I especially like the interplay of licentious thoughts with the natural closeness that is developing between them, like Hermione snuggling instinctively closer as she sleeps. As always, your narrative details are deliciously evocative and touching by turns, and your writing is first rate. Besides, if I get impatient for smut, I can always read something else, like your fine “Who Do You Want?”. Happy Thanksgiving, and I hope you and your betas each have a wonderful break with your family & friends that is not all work and no play (vacations when you have little ones to take care of can be exhausting). Well, let's face it, Hermione has finally come to accept that it's Severus and that she really does enjoy his company. He is her source of comfort. Yeah, look forward to the mirror coming back in future chapters. I wanted to show a little bit of gentleness between them with Severus taking care of Hermione not just emotionally, but physically. I wanted to show a little playfulness between them exploring the level of comfortableness between them. | |||

| You've updated! *Does the extremely happy dance* You have just made my week. I hope you update again soon, as I'm dying to find out what Hermione's decision is. This is so well written, and you have made Hermione's characer rather unpredictable. You don't really know if she's going to choose Severus and be happy, or be stubborn (and In my opinion stupid, because who could pass up Severus?) and choose Ron. Anyway, I'm begging you on bended knee, please update soon or I might just die. *Does a dramatic act* Die I tell you, DIE! Right well, please please update soon. Wonderful chapter, and awesome story! | So couldn't he just give Hermione a little kiss on the weekend? Or maybe a "good luck / forget-me-not on your anniversary" kiss on Monday? That wouldn't "really" be cheating if it was less than a second long. It would only take a tick, then it'd be over! But I'd be endlessly pleased. Author's Response: Do you really think Hermione and Severus could stop at just one kiss? Like the Ruffles potato chip commercial said, "Bet'cha can't have just one." Don't worry, Hermione's nightmare will end and her "Prince" will kiss her and awaken her from her nightmare. | |||

| Uuuhh Severus is becoming rash with potions and plants ! I know he does it to help Hermione but does loving Hermione make him anything else than the cunning Slytherin he is?? Head-over-heels in love indeed ! What if Moody discover some of this stuff in a "surprise visit"?? Gods, I am afraid of what could happen. Also I am wondering... Hermione does not know yet the original reason why severus was nice to her (of course it changed over time). What will be her reaction when Severus tell her? Will she think he used her? I need your help in timing also please: Monday is their last meeting before the anniversary, but when is that anniversay? Tuesday? Author's Response: Well, love can make fools of us all, if we fall really hard and fast, which is what happened to Severus. You'll how Sev erus survives a surprise visit. Hermione has no clue to Severus' royaly incentive when he started seeing her. Yes, there will be one last Monday meeting before teh anniversary dinner, which will be coming up in the next chapter - which is sitting in the queue right now. The anniversary is on Thursday August 21st. When they married back in 1999, August 21st fell on a Saturday. | |||
