| I love the way you bring us along on their adventures, feeling their emotions, crying for them and with them, and understanding what goes on in their heads. You write that part soooo well. We truly got caught up in Hermione's addiction and her thought processes while she wasn't thinking clearly and didn't really consider other options because we were one with her at the time, addicted and muddled. Then her thought processes cleared, the addiction gone, and its like a gauzy scarf has been removed from our eyes and we see everything so much more clearly, understanding for the first time that we weren't seeing clearly before. I'm telling you, its like we are right there, living it right along with them.
This chapter didn't turn out as I expected. I thought for sure we would hear how Severus crashed and survived; maybe a story of Pele and Nāmaka and how they fought over him and all Pele could do was use her winds to help him fall less quickly and away from someplace that he would perish instantly. If Pele is the goddess of lightening, why would it strike his broom if she didn't want him to die that night? Will we hear the story of his survival? I am incredibly excited for what is to come. Please keep feeding your muse, and thanking your betas. I have't been this excited about a story in a very long time. Thank you so much for sharing your amazing talents with us!!!! As for lightning striking his broom, Pele is a fickle goddess. She helped Severus turn around, but wasn't paying that much attention where her lightning was striking when he got close to land. She can't pay attention to every little detail. | |||

| Great chapter. Love that Hermione is thinking clearly again and that she was on top of her game during the trial. Wish so much that she was enough for Severus to get over himself and come back for (even if it could just be for a moment or two), but glad that he's finally opening up a piece of himself in order to send her a meaningful lei. Your story is so well written that you can really feel the characters, and root for them which says so much for your writing skills. As always I thank you for your sharing of this story and for the chapters coming out so quickly as of late (I especially love that). Author's Response: There is so much movement inthe plot in chapters 88-93, I thought it would be better to post those quickly instead of the reader losing momentum. After chapter 93, I'll post as a slower rate until my betas have finished editing the last of the chapters, then I'll post them as fast as I can, getting them through the mod queue. Thanks for the lovely review. It's good to know I have done a good job and connected with my reader to make them care about the characters. | Have been a big fan of this story for as long as it's been going on, but sadly have neglected to review before now. May I just say "Well done." This is a story that grabs you and holds you transfixed. It's gritty and messy, has humor and angst as well as joy - basically a lot like real life. Well worth hanging around for and even going back to re-read and refresh on more than one occasion. I will admit that I had convinced myself that it would be necessary to follow Dumbledore's method of obtaining lemon juice as evidenced in the memory Hermione had viewed in order to unravel the mystery, but that truly would have been overly complicated. And I am really hoping that Hermione's increasingly unsettled stomach in this chapter has nothing to do with her fling with Neville and everything to do with what Severus was experiencing at the same time instead. Author's Response: Yes, good of you to catch the timing of Hermione's stomach and Severus' near drowning coinciding at the same time. Remember, there is an 11 hour difference so what happened that Saturday night in Hawaii, it is Sunday morning in London. Good to hear my story is realistically reflective of real life and that it's not a painted over rosy picture. It's not a complete tragedy, but my characters do periodically suffer. | |||

| Oh Severus!! I am so glad he didn't do something stupid....... :/. Really a man that smart and he goes off all half cocked and tried to off himself. While the other one buries herald in work to the point of breaking.

| Love that it ended up being Lavender that came to slap him silly! My guess was that it was going to be Ron actually (believe it or not!) but love that for all their history Lavender feels that protective of Hermione. Well done there! Cant wait for the next! Author's Response: Yep, Lavender doesn't have any female friends except for Hermione and has become quite protective of her - mommy hormones part of it too. Waiting for an art commission to go with Ch 91 (next chapter). | |||

| Seruousily!!???? Another cliffie??!!??? I just found out another good client is going to a"new photographer" because it is her sister in law. I have thrown my back out, we have no money and we have a stupid fucking Disney trip to pay for because of My daughter and her dance studio and her senior year.

Why are you trying to hurt me???? Author's Response: Yes, another cliffie. No, not hurt, but entertain and keep you eagerly wanting more. Don't worry, next three chapters will be extremely rewarding and worth the wait, like a soothing salve on a chapped ass that got spanked too much. And for the client who went with the s-i-l, just wait, it will be cheaper, but "she'll get what she pays for" and then will probably come back to you. As for your back, try cupping, which is why my grandmother and grandfather did, and they were from Germany, so it's not just a "new fad" but something old, tried and true. | |||
