| Their meeting was excellently done. I can so see Hermione wanting, needing, to slowly come to terms with the fact that Calleo and Snape are the same person. I'm glad Snape's letting her take her time too. Poor, drunken, exhibitionist Hermione... I hope she and Ron hold off their fight (there is going to be one, isn't there?) until she's sober and not hungover. Author's Response: Thank you, glad you enjoyed how I wrote this chapter. Yes, Hermione needs to come around. When she kisses Severus, there has to be no doubt in her mind she wants to kiss him. Yep, Hermione can only really let it all hang loose if she's sloshed enough. | OMG! I hope poor distraught drunk Hermione doesn't do anything stupid w/ Ron. If she tells Ron, I have no doubt that any type of angst we've seen before will look like a ride at Disney in comparison to the wrath that Ron will unlease upon both Snape and Hermione. I was hoping she'd get a little drunk and go back to Snape...speaking of Snape that whole scene was so intense...I know Hermione is struggling, but part of me wants to smack her and tell her to get over it and move on, either w/ Ron or Snape (of course no secret to whom we prefer)-at least stop crying. I did catch the Fairy Brandy hint and picturing Hermione singing 'I've got a lovely bunch of coconuts' had me howling! You're right, Hermione just couldn't hop in bed with Snape...we'll have to wait for her Thursday meeting to see how things go. You do a great job of taking the reader right to the edge and leaving us hanging...while part of me hates the cliffhanger, the other part LOVES them...I love the anticipation of what is to come. Author's Response: Hmmm, I don't know. Hermione could do anything in this drunken state. Now, you don't want Hermione to do anything with Severus while drunk where she would regret it in the morning now, do you? We must have Hermione keep going back to him, cause Severus needs to escape still. Yeah, Hermione should just get over it, but she's a cautious witch. She really wants to be sure before she does anything she will regret. But you can't blame her for crying, she's just confused and going through a big funk. | excellent. This chapter is so powerful. I'm glad Hermione is willing to be held by Snape. But I hope she won't do something stupid with Ron since you wrote her monthly potion like the muggle one may failed. The cliff is terrible Author's Response: Thanks. Yeah, we couldn't have Hermione run away from Severus when he's just sitting there offering to hold her, could we? Hell, I'd like any reason for Severus to hold *me*. | |||

| Poor Hermione, poor Severus, how are they going to get out of this impasse? In her drunken state hope she doesn't disclose too much to Ron!! I really felt sorry for both of them in this chapter, so near yet so far. They are digging themselves deeper in.Talk about the path of true love not running smoothly! Author's Response: How will they get out of this impasse? One will fold, but I shant say who it will be. True love is never quite a smooth road in a fun fic like this, but it a long and interesting one. Lots of scenery! Look! A coconut tree!!! | |||
