| Wow, my mother makes cassoulet with breadcrumbs and my aunt gives her such flack about it! But I never interject because apparently it's great offense to qualify things we've never made ourselves. It's funny you brought that into their conversation, because it sounded just like what my aunt and mom would be arguing about. Either way free food is free food. So I keep my mouth shut. Author's Response: Yes, there can be such great food debates amoung the foodies. I have my own predjudices about some foods too. Your right, cooks don't want flack for their food, just priase. Wise of you to keep your mouth shut. You should have seen how I ripped apart one man who sniffed at my food like some damn cat before eating. I told him I poisoned it just for him. | |||

| Okay, reviewing again...why? I like Ashwinder's review system best. ;-) Okay, this name, Trevor Spawn, started spinning ideas in my head. Hmmmm, could have an entire side-story there! Trevor the toad was an animagus that is a relation to Neville, but more of the seedy pure-blood type. So, he was at Hogwarts to spy on Harry for the former DE's. But he has a family and his son is the nasty character that you have just forced upon poor Hermione. The Spawn of Trevor! Sounds like a horror movie. LOL! Okay, sorry, I never said that my brain produced good storylines! HA HA HA! I hope that Hermione has a little bit of happiness or hope soon, I really feel terribly sorry for her in this story! I'm very suspicious of Lavendar suddenly (I've been re-reading this story)...she certainly knows an awful lot about what's going on and after her fit last chapter, it was interesting how she calmed down and went straight to "how to make sure that Hermione still shows up to see Calleo"...Hmmmmmm.... Author's Response: Trevor is just a character...he's no government conspiracy cover up spook or anything of that ilk. Though I really like yoru theory. He's just a spoiled rotten brat who is now faced with working in the real world. I just thought of a little toady jerk and Neville's toad came to mind, thus the name. Your other conspiracy theories are interesting....hmmmm, we'll have to wait and see. | |||

| Excellent chapter, Betz! Oy Ron is such a prat! Ugh I hate him! Ok, so Hermione did say some pretty hurtful things during their argument, but he's still being such a prat. He obviously doesn't really care to fix their marriage or to see her truly happy. Anyway, I can't wait for the Hermione/Severus interaction in the next chapter. I hope it gets posted soon. Thanks for the recipes, btw. I will have to try them out! Cheers! :-) Author's Response: Yeah, Ron's an ass, but sometimes nice people in a bad marriage can behave in ways you don't even recognize (I've seen it happen with others). Yeah, both Hermione and Ron said some awful things. I'll be posting ch25 this afternoon, not sure how long it will sit in the queue. | |||

| Good chapter, Betz! I almost cringed when Trevor called her sweetcakes! LOL So, our favorite Potions Master is getting nervous waiting for our favorite know-it-all? I am glad. I am ready to see the interaction in the next chapter...Maybe even a kiss or two? I thought for sure when she was reading his letter at the end she would recognize that handwriting!!!! Oh well, hopefully she will soon! Author's Response: Yes, Trevor is quite a little toad..isn't he (hint, hint - catch the name?) Yes, Severus is a bit nervous, as Albus - the angel on his shoulder - has pointed out. And you would tthink she would recognize Severus' handwriting, but she didn't. Things can be glaringly obvious right in front of our faces sometimes and we still can't see it. | |||

| I wish I could say I can't believe they hired Trevor, but I swear I've worked there before and he would be considered Management Track. I see Ron is still... Ron. It's really rather sad that Hermione is stuck in such an unsatisfactory life. But Severus isn't in a better one. The conversation with Albus-in-his-head was brilliant! I'm really hoping somebody ends up living happily ever after at the end of this... somebody like Draco, Ginny, Severus and Hermione. Just a subtle hint. :-) ~Lisa Author's Response: Yes, we've all worked someplace where we say, "My God! Why the hell did they hire this incompetent boob?" I'm glad you like the little talk Albus had with Severus. It is all in Severus' head, but one can't help dredge up how a old friend can annoy the hell out of us at times with conversations in our head. Will our intrepid quartet wind up living happily ever after? You'll just have to wait and see. | |||

| As always, a great chapter. Very intense. Lavender lashing out on Severus, the background story about Parvati, which explained the change in Lavenders behaviour ... and I wonder whom that letter she burnt was from? I'd bet it was from Ron, who moved back to Hermione after Dolohovs attack. I still suspect Lav's somehow in love with Ron. The background information you provided on the flowers used by Hermione was great. Especially the reasoning for Minervas bundle brought tears to my eyes. And again, after all that angst the humorous part to break the tension - the big cassoulet debate. Great. Waiting eagerly for the next installments Author's Response: The letter could be from Ron...or it could be from someone else....MUWAHAHAHA! Only time will tell. I brought tears to your eyes? Something has to be really powerful for me to cry over a fic. Well, I was hoping to move people, but to tears? Good. I was tearing up quite a bit when I wwrote it, as I have Hermione's thought in my head. Yes, for every bit of dark, a little light should shine and I thought we needed a little light hearted fun with Draco and Ginny. CHapter 24 is already in the queue, expect to see it in four days or less, I hope. | |||
