Very interesting indeed. They almost had a confrontation! I wonder what Snape will think when/if Hermione tells him she spotted "Calleo" in the bookstore. Thanks for the chapter!

AARGH! Why couldn't she have been just a bit more curious??? Can't wait to see what you have up your sleeve next....Will he mention the issues which she was researching during one of their upcoming meetings? Could be an interesting conversation...Chapter was well written. I enjoyed the interplay between the various characters, and especially that Severus was wanting to "attack" Hermione (or at least her neck)...Update again soon. PLEASE?!?

Thanks for the update and I'm glad to see that Hermione is finally looking into the Wizarding World's marriage laws. You know I'm surprised she didn't do that before the wedding but I suppose then she thought she was in love.

Dump Ron... I sure hope Hermione finds what she needs in those books! Hmm, perhaps Severus should add those books to his list, and leave them out openly in his room so that she notices and borrows them. Write faster, write faster!!

oooh, reading that has made me long for the long hot summer evenings (although London in a heatwave is an annual nightmare, so I don't know why I'm looking forward to it really, you just painted me a very pretty picture) A very cool update, Ginny putting down those bitchy Quidditch wives, was classic, and highly plausible. My only problem was Ron's behaviour. I happen to love Ron, and therefore hate reading about him calling his wife a frigid bitch...still, he did deserve to be blinded by citric acid Can't wait for more

Author's Response: I don't hate Ron, but this story is from Hermione's and Severus' point of view. Hermione is seeing him less and less favorably. Ron is not an entirely bad person or prat in this fic, but from Hermione's view, he's becoming a real pain. I had a brother who was in what I call a toxic marriage. Neither person was entirely bad or at fault, but the two together wore each other down and my brother, who was a light hearted person eventually became an angry bitter man at an early age.

Hermione seemed discouraged after she read the books on wizard divorces. I wish she'd just do it's obvious they are both miserable. I was wondering about something from an earlier chapter. Snape was surprised the Hermione hadn't been promoted in all that time. Is it really that she's a muggleborn or is someone (like Mr. Weasley) pulling strings to keep her dissatisfied with her work? Doing it with the hope that she'd want to forget or career and start a family?

Author's Response: Ah, you question regarding her work will be answered next chapter. That's all I can say.

Excellent chapter, I especially liked the put downs to the quidditch wives.
