Reviews for And They Didn't Live Happily Ever After

This is such a good idea for a story. I'm quite pleased with it. I do feel that not only is Ginny a coward, but she's a selfish one at that. And Hermione is now in such a pickle, that for Ginny to continue asking people to cover for her is really mean. So mean, that I LOVE it! Please keep going. I'm hooked on this story.

I just love well written stories that portray any Malfoy as human (tho flawed). And its a bonus if Harry is portrayed realistically (not perfect) as well. It is also so realistic that the Wizarding world wouldn't turn into instant paradise after Voldemort's defeat especially for the losing side. What an inventive punishment for the Death Eaters. I can't wait to see how Hermione deals with the moral dilemma she's been dragged into. Seems like both Harry and Ron have continued the habit of just using her that began in their school years. Can't wait til Snape shows up! ;-)

I laughed at the fact that Draco had become a gigolo. I had no doubt he had it in him but was surprised to see it happen. As someone who dislikes the boy, I am pleased that you portray him in a way that is slightly arrogant yet slightly sad. This, coupled with Harry being a twit, makes it posible to buy into Ginny's infidelity with him. As others have stated I don't see Hermione telling Harry the truth. The circumstances are too alike. I also love the use of the relationship dynamic that so many people fall prey to. You can be with the sexiest person alive but at some point the sex stops and if you can’t talk to one another; the relationship usually fails. As for Snape, I can’t see him working for Lavender. I see a man who was a successful spy, who fooled most people for years. So I’m more apt to believe that he is 1: using a spell to disguise himself or 2: he’s hiding in the Dark Forest with the really big spiders. And as for your credo, wasn’t that from “Some Kind of Wonderful?” I shall eagerly await part 5.

Love this story. Poor Ginny, stuck with a man she doesn't truly love and rotten sex to boot. I wonder if Harry's secretly in the closet lusting after Ron in his dreams? Okay, maybe not. So where's Snape? Is he working for Lavender too and how did she get into this business? Maybe there needs to be a wizarding underground railroad to smuggle former Death Eaters out of the country? Or at least Snape and Malfoy.

Wait, wait! "Any witch or wizard bearing the Dark Mark shall be under parole of the Ministry for the rest of their life" - so if the guys can lose their mark (if necessary, cut off and regrow their left forearm) then they're free??
