| Betz, This is now my HGSS story in the whole fucking HGSS world. You are just awesome.... I'm speechless. The only thing I can think of is wanting another chapter quickly!! Author's Response: I am flattered by your praise, but I know there are other HG/SS out there that deserve this praise more than my fic. They are too many to name, but they always come up when people request a good fic to read on WIKTT. | Of course Hermione isn't ready to shag Snape, but hope springs eternal. The "I know that you know that I know that you know" stuff is funny -- and a little confusing, once you get bayond the first set of I and you. Minty green tan was funny indeed; I think I've read that Doonesbury. Wonderful chapter, Betz; I see hope for them! Author's Response: LOL! Yes, I find it almost annoying when Severus is illustrated with green skin. And the Lego PoA set that included Snape had him manufactured with green skin. I don't know why, but that annoys me. He's sallow, not a Martian! Yes, you can hope for Severus and Hermione to shag, but it won't happen until she's ready. Don't worry, you'll know when she's ready. | |||

| Very well written chapter! The sexual tension between them had to be scaled down due to the "I know you know I know" business but it is a great way to tackle the maturing of their relationship. The scene of Hermione with her cheek on the tile broke my heart. And his reaction ah! that was exquisite.
I have a question: why would Severus need an enhancement to alieviate his lust for her? Is it also a punishment for the fact that he has lost control? If you allow them to be together in the end of the story then perhaps you can have them invent a soreless potion for Hermione. Or perhaps she would not mind..... Author's Response: Thank you, yes Snape still wants her, but is willing to wait for her to come around. He wasn't attracted to her at first, but now he wants her badly. He's willing to wait in hope that Hermione will come around and want him just as much too. Severus doesn't need the male enhancement potion to alleviate himself his lust for her, he needs to test out several different variantions of the potion, so he needs to start testing now. It's not punishment, there is a back up of different brewed batches he needs to test, from 50 hours to 70 hours, in four hour incriments. So that's six different batches he needs to get around to testing for strength. He might as well start testing. There is more on why he's testing while masturbating later, but you'll have to wait and see. (hint-hint) | |||

| And here I was getting ready for the fireworks. The confrontation, the yelling, the suspicions, the accusations, the tears... well, I suppose we did get the tears. :-) I didn't even think of absinthe and fairy brandy, but I loved the way Hermione responded to trying to keep her secrets while under the influence. Author's Response: Nope...both want their little fantasy world to continue on. Ever see the movie/play "Who's Afraid of Virginia Wolfe?" Remember the "son"? Same principle. Yeah...the exhibitionist in Hermione got out for a while, though her secret did not. | |||

| Ohh!!! I'm falling in love with Snape as well! And I liked the little comment about her not being able to call him by his first name in her mind. I'm sure when she finally does, that will be a pivotal point.
Ron's still being a right prat. I keep wondering if he didn't have an affair when he left her for the week...and if he couldn't end up with a child from another women. That would be a huge blow to Hermione and might be the little push she needs to send her to Severus. Also, the drink Hermione had wouldn't by any chance be taken the old way pouring water over a sugar cube, eh? Absinthe does make the heart fonder! :P Loved this chapter and am waiting for mroe! ^_^ Author's Response: Snape is quite the smooth master, isn't he? (SWOONS!) Yes, when Hermione can say his name in her mind, it will be significant. Ron is being a jerk, but Hermione is not exactly perfect either. They are both just full of resentment and anger. Both feel that they are the wronged party. Though Fairy Brandy is not exactly Absinthe, it does share many similar attributes. | |||
