| I have read an reread this story over the years for many times with a hope of an actual happily ever after, and yet this is the first time when i leave a review.
this story is rough and dark, with some nasty twists and rays of hope just as life itself. I actually shed a tear the moment when Hermione lost her control and gave herself to Nevile, vice versa in Severus moment of weakness. It's a sad twist, but quite understandable. Though i cannot say that i enjoyed this chapter much.
Anyway, being a hopeless romantic, i do hope that SS/HJG someday will be together, and find the strenght to forgive and forget and finally be as one always and forever.
Ps: still love this story.

I like making readers experience ups and downs. Yes, this story does have some very dark turns, some even darker than this chapter still ahead, but I do promise, there will be a happily ever after, but there are troubles ahead for our two lovers. | |||

Author's Response: Update: Ooh! After I replied, I saw you were commenting on chapter 52, when I started posting again! Yep, back to regular posting and no more hiatuses of the long kind, except for vacations. The story is complete so no more WIP. No excuse not to post it all now, just keeping pace with my betas right now. | |||

| I started reading this back in 2005 (?), and it was, in fact, probably the first fanfiction I have ever read. I'm so glad you're updating now! I recently started reading again after a long hiatus and it's like coming home to old friends. Please keep the updates coming. I'm waiting on the edge of my seat! Author's Response: Welcome back. Yes, I did set this down for a long while, but the good news is that there will be no more interruptions of updates, as it's all written out and I'm pacing chapter postings with how fast my betas edit my chapters, while keeping a buffer to keep the updates mostly consistent (except with my recent 10-day vacation where I didn't post since I was without Internet access and didn't bring a laptop with me). So more is always on the way. | |||

| Wonderful as always. I loved the presentation of offerings to the Goddess. Can't wait to unravel the mysteries of the lemons. Author's Response: Severus is not religious, but he knows not to tempt or mock Fate. Lemons will eventually be addressed, I promise. | |||

| Chicken skin! That's like goose bumps to you. Many people have pele stories. My sister has long black hair down to her waist and could scare people into thinking she was pele. Especially when she wears long mu'umu'u to play drums or ukulele.
Wish I knew what the lemons were for. I've got some just like those, plenty seeds and hardly any juice. More hints!

| Oh great, I think Alan is back..... Hmm I think he is more of a threat than we realized...especially for former death eaters.
And I loved how Pele came to help Severus and Mounga. That was quite nice. Severus back to his heroic saving women ways.
And Hermione's potion endured hallucinations of Severus. Oh she does miss him so. And Severus too.
He does need to just send her a note... I love you... And that is all that is needed. Men can be so silly getting hung up on simple things like that.
And Akela telling him is pants at spy work!!!! Too good!
And still no idea about the lemons.... I am surprised she didn't try a revelio spell as they are not regular lemons. I know they are the key to Draco and Severus's innocence...but how to discover that. Hmm. Author's Response: Yeah, I had to throw that in about Akela thinking his spy skill suck. Too good not to include that.The lemons shall be revealed soon. Just wait until chapter 90 (don't go by the chapter numbers on Ashwinder since I have split chapters skewing the count). | |||
