| Hurrah for a new chapter! I was worried that after HBP, a lot of writers would discontinue their fanfics due to befuddlement and a general sense of "Well gee, what am I supposed to do now?!" I am so glad to see that you aren't one of them! Well done, and I eagerly await for the next chapter. Author's Response: No, as long as I ignore HBP, I can continue with my fic. | Wow good chapter! I wonder if Lavender's hesitance to hire Hermione is only because of what Hermione will think when she finds out Calleo is Severus or if it is something more?? It will be fun to find out.
I enjoyed the lunch with Draco, Severus and Ginny. I think Ginny needed her eyes opened a little to Ron. I know it hurts her to think so ill of Ron, and she was hoping her brother and friend had the marriage she and Harry didn't, but she needs to face the facts. I mean, we know Hermione and Ginny are miserable, but obviously Ron (and probably Harry) is too. Ron has to know, especially after their last encounter, that he absolutely does nothing for Hermioe, and that has to hurt. Poor People!!! Looking forward to the next chapter! Author's Response: Thanks! You'll have to wait and see if there is anything more to Lavender's reaction or not. SHe has a rather large business at stake if the Ministry decided to be a bunch of bureaucratic prigs. Yes, I like Ginny, Draco and Severus' lunch too. Ginny treats Severus like she would treat any other human and not with the skittish egg-shell walking that others do, and Severus likes to be treated with a little kindness and respect, though he is initially not a kind man. Ginny's love for her brother had blinded her to his faults. Now taht she thinks ROnis cheating on Hermione, she'll be much more open minded if Hermione get more intimate with Severus. | |||

Author's Response: Yes, Ginny had her own illusions about Hermione's marriage, just like Hermione had her own illusions about Ginny's. The beta-mill is in motion, so more is on the way. | |||

| Please don't stop or change this story with the new book. I am really enjoying this. Quite frankly I like this story more than the new book. No disrespect to our goddess meant. Author's Response: I will continue with this story ignoring all HBP canon. I know you meant no disrespect to Rowling, but with new canon, our ship is sailing in perilous waters right now. | |||

| the last time a bloke accused me of being frigid, i started him farming in a small way, (I kneed him in the nuts and gave him a couple of acres ( get it ?) Why is it that if youre not in the mood when the bloke is he accuses you of being frigid ?, Ron deserved that quick merciless stroke, well written Betz. | At the beginning of the dream sequence I was hoping for some clues what really happened at Hogwarts, so Hermione could work out the defence for Severus and Draco. Things are really messed up between Hermione and Ron. I wonder about the counseling. Will it get worse? Can it get worse? And the abuse worry of her parents - well, abuse often starts with snide comments that undermine the confidence of the abused part in a relationship. I wonder where you will be leading us into ... Author's Response: Yes, things are quite screwed up between Hermioen and Ron. There is a long history of shit between them. I think HBP vindicated my interpretation of Ron's behavior and attitude in my fic. Severus and Draco's defense will come from a few unlikely sources. | |||
