SO many people have had their faith in Snape felled by the way HBP ended, also, lots of stuff in HBP didn't seem to gel, eh. Sadsad, eh? (Erm..sorry for the mini-rant on HBP.)
Anyhoo, I have decided to blur the memories of what happened in HBP and thankfully, THANKFULLY all the fic authors are still writing their WIPS and that is gonna go a looong way. | |||

| Tricky Lavender isn't as clever as she thinks. Or not that I can read. You followed the recent book a bit closer than you realized, didn't you? :) Author's Response: Yes, while reading HBP, I kept cackling out loud just amazed at the parallels in how Ron and Hermione behaved towards each other and my fic. Prat!Ron certainly lived up to my interpretation. It's nice when new canon supports your fanfic...except for that nasty part at the end of the book which totally threw my story AU. Lavender thought she had one over on Severus, since she's been able to have the upper hand many times before. This time, Severus had the upper hand and played it well, knowing how much Lav has certain objectives (potions, profits, and a new Potions master). | |||

| I don't know about Siren's opinion, you can be good, but I think you are quite naughty, too...
So many stories have been made AU in light of HBP. I don't blame you for avoiding canon in the least, for all the obvious reasons. But, hearing that chpater 37 is done or being done brings back the joy that horrible wonderful book took, so don't leave us hanging too long.

| Such a short chapter. A good one, nonetheless, though!! Can't wait to read more. Author's Response: It was not my usual 17 to 22 pages long. I felt there was nothing more to add to this chapter and wanted to stop at the transition to the Pensieve. Ch34 is very short for those who want to skip...unpleasant things, but I'll be posting in conjunction with ch35. | |||

| First, thank you for continuing this story in spite of the nasty upsets from HBP. Second, I agree with everything reviewer Avery said about Lavender and Won-Won's relationship. Third, I don't think there are any villains in this story (well, maybe Moody). You just have people, who are a mixture of good and bad impulses, trying to get along in this world. Everyone in this story has faults and virtues, and I just love reading it. I am both anticipating and dreading the next chapter, as Lavender's pensive is not going to be pleasant. Author's Response: You're welcome. Of course I couldn't drop this story, not after all the work I put in. So I'll just have to ignore all HBP canon. Yes, thank you for noticing that. I've been trying to point out that no one is entirely blameless in this fic, that everyone has his or her own faults. Some bear blame more than others in some regards, but no one is completely innocent. And you are right, Lavender's Pensieve is not going to be pleasant. | |||
