| Wow, I hope you were able to get everything with your mother's services straightened out. The cogs of our government are definitely a slow as molasses and aggravating to deal with. It amazes me how much time and effort it takes to do something that should be very simple and straightforward. Author's Response: We just had the service for my mother on Monday. I had a whole month plus to process and mourn for her, so I wasn't a complete blubbering wreck I usually am at funerals. | |||

| i love your story too much, and now i'm in pain as you are late to post the weekly update. hope everything is fine in your life, as it has brought more lemons recently. eagerly for update await i Author's Response: Yes, I know. My mother's ashes FINALLY came back into the U.S. last Thursday and my sister and I are trying to figure out if a Philippine Government issued Death Certificate is sufficient to finally bury my mom's ashes next to my father or do we have to wait for the U.S. State Department, who would not begin creating a U.S. issued Death Certificate until all the Philippine issued paperwork was done and took a WHOLE MONTH (and at one point misspelled my brother's and mom's last name on one set of certificates that had to be redone, which added more time). So right now waiting to see if her funeral service will FINALLY be held next week or we have to wait until U.S. State Department issues D. Cert arrives from the State Department in the Philippines (the process has been reminiscent of the scene in Jupiter Rising where Mila Kunis is trying to claim her property). Byzantine, pedantic and slower than molasses are terms that come to mind. I'll post next chapter to the mod queue shortly. | |||

| Didn't see the answer to the marriage proposal coming, especially after she had already previously thought about it. Seemed like a bit of a dramatic freak out to me! Love every time a new chapter comes out. Thank you!
PS I hope you are doing well. Author's Response: Hermione had no idea if Severus would ask her, but remembering her own clusterfuck of a wedding just made her temporarily freak out. You know how she loves to stress over shit. | |||
