Author's Response: Well, I wanted a nice quiet lull for Hermione and Severus to enjoy their growing love without all the turmoil and drama plaguing their lives. | Another wonderful chapter. Well worth the wait. I hope your beta is feeling better. I can understand why these chapters take a while to write: they're so intelligent! You must do a lot of research to get all the details written. Your writing is so sensory. How the food smells, the way the herbs come together in your mouth, how the flowers look and smell and the meaning behind them. I love how you bring your stories to life in the author's notes too, leaving the reader the option to further explore the scene you have painted.
I was hoping Albus and Minerva would make another appearance. I like how they make Snape realize what he already knows. I sometimes wish I had a little Albus and Minerva to point out the obvious to me too. It was an interesting little plot point how Hermione doesn't call Snape anything. I wouldn't have noticed if it wasn't for Albus and Minerva. See! I told you I need them.
Ron on a diet. HA! That's a laugh. He's really full of himself, isn't he? Author's Response: Yes, my beta is all better now, thansk for asking about her. Yes, some chapters do take a bit of research, and others don't need so much investigation of facts and tidbits. Yeah, Severus needs Albus and Minerva to know himself at times. Denial is harder when you have your conscience nagging you in such a manner. Ron is getting a little recognition he feels he has been remiss in getting for the past few years. Let him wallow in his vanity for a little bit, he's still suffering from younger-sibling/side-kick syndrome. | |||

I really like the way you write the story, but I must say that I have read that chapter(not literally) in the previous chapters of the boook, it is a bit like a repeat of what you said in the other chapters... I really liked the chapter, however I am a bit turned down by it....
I am waiting with anticipation your next chapter, and remember....

Love Karmen Author's Response: Yeah, part of the problem of writing a WIP is that you have to do some of the tricks they use in a serial/series, revisitng some things you already covered to refresh the reader's memory. | My they are in a quandary. I feel almost as frustrated as they are. The flowers were a nice touch, a Brownie point to Severus.
