Thank you for your interesting a/n! :) Author's Response: Yes, Hermione has not only grown up, but she has tempered with age like most people do. In addition, her life has been another factor in her change - job, marraige, regrets, the war. Glad my A/N are to your likeing. I figure I should at least inform my readers of ome of the things I write about that may not be common knowledge. | |||

| Still so, so, so great. I love this story. It's calm and intense and very three-dimensional. Nice plot, great character developement. Just wonderful, please go on. I liked how Lavendar showed more traces of canon Lavendar, it was hard at times to believe her to be calm, collected and calculating. But it all adds up now. Felt rather bad for Snape when she snapped at him while he was trying to console her. (been in that exact position once and it hit hard. Just because you're sarcastic sometimes, they always assume the worst. *shakes head and mutters* Onto less grousing matters! Am longing for Hermione to leave Ron, totally ooc for her, though it may be, lol.

| Another great chapter, Betz! The 'great cassoulet debate' was funny. I agree. It seems just like something Draco and Severus would argue about...the snobs. ;-) I'm worried about Hermione, though. She needs to stop blaming herself for what happened to Marge and start taking care of herself! Maybe Severus can help her...*waggles eyebrows* Hehe...seriously, though, I hope Ron refuses to go to counselling and they get a divorce. He's just such a prat. He doesn't really pay attention to her and he certainly never listens to her when she tries to tell him what she needs and wants. I don't know if counselling will help that. Only time will tell... Oh and poor Lavendar and Parvati! Ooooh what a bastard that McNair is! But whoa boy I didn't expect to see Lavendar act like that. It was almost kinda scary. I wonder what's going on there. There is definitely some things she isn't telling Severus yet. I can't wait to find out what she has in store for Severus and Hermione. It should be interesting when we find out... Anyway, can't wait for the next chapter! I hope there is some good Hermione/Severus interaction there! Cheers! :-D Author's Response: Yes, there is a bit of pretentiousness in the whole cassoulet debate - a peek at their pure-blood upbringing. Yes, Hermione is still upset over Marge's death, but she's more emotionally dead due to the culmination of events...Dolohov's attack was just the straw that broke the camel's back. More on Ron and counseling in chapter 28 and later chapters. Yeah, Macnair is a real sick bastard. And Lavender is just feeling a bit strained at the seams herself. There are lots of things she isn't telling Severus, but all shall be revealed in time. Chapter 24 is in the queue already, so expect to see it in four days or less. | |||

| This was another powerful chapter, especially learning about Parvati. This is such an excellent job! And you're really taking your time about getting Severus had Hermione together. I want the four of them to get away! ~Lisa Author's Response: Thanks, I wanted to give some of the background on why Lavender was the way she was and why no one has seen Parvati in this fic - the two are always together in canon. I would like to have Hermione and Severus together more often, but it wouldn't be plausible...not yet anyway. | |||

| Excellent chapter, betz...The dinner discussion was excellent, as was the food fight between Ginny and Draco. i loved that...I anxiously await the next chapter..UPDATE SOON!, Please!?!?! Author's Response: Thanks...I was hoping dinner was believable between everyone. I see Ginny and Draco being a bit playful at times...I'd play with food like that if I could clean it all up with a flick of a wand.
