| Wow! It was good that all misunderstandings between them are gone. I'm happy for Severus and Hermione. But.... there's the killer of Pansy, Harry's stakeout revelation, Molly's concerns... I wonder if Harry will try to pin Pansy's murder on Severus for revenge. Hermione had better get those ingredients quickly!! And if she does that, she'll have to take off, too. | |||

| *standing up and cheering* HOORAY! I really thought it was going to be a bit more complicated than this, and I certainly didn't expect such a quick resolution to the mess that the previous night had caused. But oh, holy cow -- Molly wants a sympathetic ear. What is Severus going to find out? | OMFG IT HAPPENED! XD On the one hand, I'm so relieved. However, there's another part of me that can only think that this is going to complicate matters more. :-/ There are still SO many questions left unanswered. Will Draco and Severus' plan to flee England work? Will Hermione ever leave Ron? Will Hermione leave England with them? Is Ron cheating? *cough*heiswithLavendar*cough* ;-) Anyway, I can't wait to start having these questions (and more) answered! More, please! :D | |||

| Effing brilliant. Great chapter. I’ve totally enjoyed every chapter on its own merit, but I say "finally" not just because of the sex but because of the full realization of their feelings for each other. I’m a slobbering fan but a loyal one. I just love your prose, whether it’s smut or descriptions of food or mental chess or posturing or anything with sensual detail and insightful encounters or wit. Sigh. Your stories are better than chocolate; really.
OK, so I was half wrong thinking Severus would remember the “not tonight” comment…. He remembered!! but not until after 20 hours of hell (wonderfully described) and 10 seconds before total disaster. I thought that Hermione’s reaction was completely in character for how you have developed her, and I thought it extra sweet that she rescues Snape from righteous self-destruction by realizing they had both rushed to judgment and rash action. The sex scene was great, including the lesson…. Not only is it sexy and endearing as hell, but it’s almost as much a Fantasy as perfect sex, to go from non-orgasmic to orgasmic in 5 minutes or less!! Cool. And lest I forget Draco, I thought his lines were both perceptive re: Snape and heartrendingly powerful re: Pansy’s untimely demise. Despite the fact that you provided such a strong hint about the observer at the end of the last chapter, the best that I can come up with is Rita Skeeter ... or Alan... however, Alan as a "stalker" would likely have made an aggressive move on Hermione outside the apartment whereas Rita would have had to leave the red carpet at the resort to follow her.. So I can't decide, and I'll wait in ignorance. Author's Response: Thank you so much. Your praise really does humble me. Yep, lust has a way of addling the brain....he didn't quite understand the time qualifier in there. Who the actualy "watcher" was will be revealed much later on. | |||
