Author's Response: I saw all your earlier reviews. So glad you are enjoying this fic. Considering how heavy some of the angst is, I feel is necessary to lighten it up a bit at times with a dash of humor or everyone would just wind up utterly depressed at the end of my chapters. Personally, "I've Got A Lovely Bunch Of Coconuts" made me laugh pretty hard when I wrote it. | |||

| Actually I think that Snape has to be careful here...Somehow he is attracted to Hermione but really dont wanna admit it then on the same time he is being very Slytherin'ish and trying to use her for his purposes...I wonder what he will do when/if Hermione wants more than just a conversation...because he is clearly attracted to her (I sure hope Im right about this!) But what will happen when Hermione then (if she does) figure out who he really is...Ok Im just thinking here...Great story!!! | |||

| *jaw is on the floor* Man, who would have thought that Fudge's wife was such a... well, I think we all know what word I'd use. Holding back Hermione at the Ministry just because of what happened to She-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named back during the fifth year. *scowls* She deserved it, after all! And Hermione's really contemplating divorce? In a way, I think it would be the right thing. Personally, the whole 'romance' that seems to be springing up in the books between the two doesn't do much for me. I think Hermione and Ron would be better off as friends. Add any further complications and they'd probably argue more than they already do. And as Hermione thought, better to be alone for the right reasons than be with someone for the wrong ones. But since I've never been married, I can't really talk a whole lot on the matter. I'm not much of an expert. But this was a great chapter, Betz! Definitely worth the wait! :) The developments are really keeping my attention! Author's Response: Yes, there's alway one c*nt who likes to ruin it for us all. One bad apple spoils the pie. Yes, I'm starting to wince at the prospect of Hermione and Ron being together in H-BP and book 7, as I can see her mentally leaving him in the dust and growing bored with him as she gets older and matures and he still acts like a teenage goofball. As Rowling is stopping with book 7, we'll never know if her Ron will ever grow up to be a mature and sensible adult, like I've seen in some fics where's he's actually pretty decent. I think prat Ron is a bit cliche and in this fic he's not so much a prat as Hermione and Ron are mismatched. Yes, he acts like a prat at times, but some people can bring out the worst in us, making us revert to undesirable behaviors. | |||
