| I'm with Horserider on this one: bring on a kiss, Betz! It can't be any worse than nearly passing out from all the chemistry you've imbued Severus and Hermione with. And he won't be wearing a mask next time, so there's less of an impediment, shall we say, to kissing. Where (in general) do you live, that you must tolerate jacarandas? They're all over my neighborhood in Southern California. Beautiful though they are, the mess is incredible. Thanks for the recipe; I have to give it a try. | My goodness the fantasies those two will be having. So what's up next Betz? Thank you for that lovely cake recipe. Looks like a delicious idea. I think that's another why I like this site. All the wonderful authors tell one where to look for the information or they provide it at the end of a chapter. Would be neat if Ashwinder came out with a cook book w/dance steps. Lol.. | Wow. I've been hit with a sudden ephiphanie, you'll have to put weight onit or not: wouldn't it be the kicker if S&D escaped, with G&H of course :), in the guise of R&H?. Unfortunely I doubt Hermione would be so underhanded at this point. I don't think she'd have to be pushed much farther however...Excellent work, and the faster updates are just lovely. Author's Response: Well, Hermione could escape with Severus, Draco and Ginny...or not. She could stay in England with her husband and her family. Or it could all fail and Draco goes to Azkaban, Ginny is thrown out into the street, shunned by her family, and Ron begins a very public affair with some society witch, humiliating Hermioe while she is stuck at home with children after her contraceptive Potions fail. (Ooh...that is depressing!) We shall see. | |||

| The recipe is also good with almond extract instead of vanilla. Yummy (and not just the cake).
Please, Betz, I want some more. Author's Response: It does make a damn moist cake. My mother-in-law was an instant fan of this recipe, as it's easy and stays moist for a long time. More is on the way. | |||

| So, what was it that you actually decided regarding their date next week, eh? What sort of bets? *sigh* A kiss maybe? Oh, that would be so sweet, and so tempting! I really want to know what's gonna happen at Hermione's parent's house. Is momma Wendy going to suspect problems and try to persuade her daughter out of a bad relationship, or is she more like Molly and pushing Hermione to stay together b/c that's what's 'right'. | Damn, woman...I should learn to not read before I have to go to class...now, I won't be able to focus on Racial and Ethnic Relations...Damn... I love the chapter, and the sexual tension was at an all time high..I can't think of another story right now that has that kind of intensity... PLEASE update soon. I want to see her have to go through the blindfolded "date". Will she get any clues as to his identity? This is a most excellent story that keeps me watching for more. PLEASE, save the frail sanity of your readers and update quickly... Author's Response: So should I put a warning at the beginning of my chapters that people should not read unless they have a Significant Other near by in which to shag immediately after reading? ;-) Wow...well, I learned from the best about UST. Anise's "Jewel of the Harem" posted (there are some chapters that literally having me panting) on Schnoogle and KazVL's "Falling Further In". The "blindfold" date will be coming up, but it will be coming out after HBP, as I have not written it yet. CLues to Severus/Calleo's identity? Perhaps. I'm writing as fast as I can, forgoing sleep and social contact with my family. | |||
