| "He used his one true beauty, and it soothed even him." What a sentence! What a line: "...his one true beauty"--and how true it is! Yet AR, in a recent interview said, "I can't hear what everyone else does. I'm 6'1", I wear size 10 1/2 shoes, and I've got this voice. They're just facts about me." Unbelievable chapter--rather than repeat what everyone else has already said, I will simply agree heartily and tell you to keep up the great job--oh, and thank you for all your hard work! Author's Response: Well, sometimes what you have is enough. I remember reading a fanfic once that said something like, (I think it was Aurette in Princess of Gryffindor) "what the gods had denied him in looks they sure made up for in his voice". | Now THIS is the kind of chapter that I as a reader LIVE for. It's got an underlying tension of not just one, but TWO uncomfortable situations, and shimmers of angst moving through a hurt/comfort curtain. Best of all, it's got a caring Hermione tending to a pain-ridden Snape, with his heartfelt gratitude and appreciation of her mashed into a bloody pulp of guilt for what he had to set her up for. I love it, and can hardly wait to see what you're going to do with all of this! Author's Response: Johg, I was afraid I'd lost you! I'm glad you are enjoying it. | Even now, Harry is just not hearing what Hermione told him about Sirius. He doesn't stop to think that if he was so wrong about his godfather, he could be wrong about other people i.e. Snape. I bet he's started making excuses for Black already: "She led him on - He wouldn't really have raped her " Author's Response: Sometimes we only see what we want to see...hold on..Harry's day is coming... | |||

| That was so sad, yet there is hope with both of them together. Somehow, someone has to make Harry see the light. Obviously, Dumbledore will not be the one to explain; maybe Hermione could show Harry her memories before Harry follows Dumbledore's plans blindly without asking for any clarification. Please allow Severus and Hermione's power to increase and their magic to bind so that THEY can bring down LV. It would make a nice change to the ending, despite the prophesy. Great update, thanks!
