| Gods, the cliffhanger at the end of this chapter is absolutely brutal!! But the fact that story is completely addicting is what keeps up coming back for more! I can't help but love your descriptions of Severus and Hermione, and i'm going crazy waitng for the next chapter!! Author's Response: Thank you! | I hope that last bit was a dream. I can see Hermione and Severus putting up a united front against all enemies and they will be a very powerful force together. I was so glad when you allowed Severus to confront Dumbledore; I can't believe he is so partial to Sirius. What is he playing at? Good for Severus. Great update and I DO hope this has a good ending after all the suffering you've put Severus through. Author's Response: Thank you, Kermit. | Thank God Hermione lost it and started shouting at Harry and Dumbledore! I was willing her on and almost shouted "Go Hermione" at my computer screen when she did! Fortunately I restrained myself - and a good job too, my husband already thinks I've lost the plot. Your descriptions are fabulous. And that kiss!! WOW!! | Just started reading this story last night. I had to force myself to stop and go to bed. Now I'm all caught up! I love this. I especially love it when an author doesn't give us the cliche of "Dumbledore was a saint." Occasionally that's ok, but I think the way you've written him is a little more true to how Rowling wrote him and more interesting.
I also love the sensuality between Severus and Hermione, and I cannot wait to see how it all plays out! Author's Response: It' about as AU as you can get, but it all makes sense in my twisted little head! | |||

| I just have to say, I love to hate Dumbledor. I think he's a better villain that Voldemort in some ways. Its the smiling, twinkling, lemon drop proffering sweet old man charade while he twists the thumb screws a bit tighter that really gets me. Such a politician.
