| I can not wait for the next chapter, and the next, and the next. This has got to be one of the most captivating stories I have ever read on this site or any other site that has SS/HG ships. You have a way with words. Author's Response: I cannot tell you how uplifting your review was to me today! I lost chapter 20 in an unfortunate accident (involving my PC and a pint of milk), and I have to start it over. I will be working on it next week, and hopefully it will be uploaded very soon. | I'd say this has got to be one of the 5 best SSHG stories I've read in the last couple of years. You're a great writer. I'm breathless at your portrayal of Severus' personality and motivations. I sincerely hope you are able to retrieve the data off your hard drive. This story is too good to lose! Author's Response: Wow! Thank you so very, very much! | I just finished reading this straight through to this point. I can't wait to see how this story ends. Anxiously looking forward to your next update. Don't worry about one review that thinks you're characterizations. Frankly, I like your spin on what's going down behind the scenes much better than the "original"...no offense to JKR. I know a lot of people feel the same and LOVE stories like yours that give us a different version. Keep up the good work. Your writing is awesome! | Mmm, that was even hotter than the last chapter! *fans self* So many things to love: H/S never leaving each other's side (so glad they at least got a proper honeymoon), Hermione walking around naked (naked!girl/clothed!man is a major kink of mine so the image of her lounging on Severus' lap was quite delicious), H/S looking through her mother's things (I admit that part made me tear up; I'm glad the love of her parents can give her strength even though they gone), and the fierceness of Hermione's love for Severus when she states that Lily never deserved his love. I don't leave reviews very often (I'm no good at them), but know that I love this and all your stories and check for updates religiously! We are all very lucky to have an amazing author like you in the HG/SS fandom! :) Author's Response: Kelly, thank you for such a lovely, encouraging review - after the last one, I can tell ya, it is music to my ears! I think you write lovely reviews - lol. You are so kind to say those things about me. I feel it's a privilege to be able to write stories that (most) people enjoy. I was struggling a bit with this latest chapter, but I think my lovely beta has given me what I need to push on, so hopefully it won't be too long until I get this back on the road.
