And I absolutely LOVE Poppy! She's the perfect blend of older-sister figure and mother-figure and thoroughly modern woman. Author's Response: I just figure that Madam Pomfrey would have seen and experienced so much in all her years at Hogwarts she would either be a complete bitch or a really nice person. Remarkable 2011.02.14 - 08:10PM 1: Prologue Signed Very tight, very well worked in and thought out plot. I was simply agonized over Sirius' attempted rape of Hermione in his Animagus form! It made it that much more intense and visceral. I think that after she has some time to work out the death of her parents and grieve that there should be some recognition of her emotion, some type of fear or real hesitation on her part towards intimacy. One does not go through that without flinching when another comes near and doesn't say anything, or if she is confronted with someone drinking it drive her explicably to rage or something because she is bound to have triggers from that incident. Just saying I hope you work that in somehow, that she will always be affected by that. I wonder if they are going to tell Harry about that incident? Wow I can see how they wouldn't, but then again I can also see it coming out somehow and him blaming Snape for some god awful reason, convuluting the facts and just going all Gryffindor on Severus. I really hope Snape and Hermione get more time together, I crave all the sweet moments they share. They've been through so much already *sniff* had me in tears damn you!
