| Give me a minute here, I need to catch my breath.... It is so sad that Severus still has lingering doubts that he will see disappointment in Hermione's eyes and misinterprets what she says to mean that she doesn't want him. All the rejection that he has faced in his past is still with him, and hopefully Hermione will help him move on from it and see that he is needed and wanted by her. “You are already the best lover I have ever had.” and “In so many ways, you are the only lover I’ve ever had." I don't know why these two sentences are sticking with me so much, but they are. I think it is because he said them with such emotion that isn't heard, but felt. “ - I will make you happy you chose me.” This has got to be one of the greatest lines ever writting in an SS/HG story. It is so much more than where it is in the context of the story. I love how the scene is more than just sex. It is all the emotions, thoughts, feelings, everything that comes with the act instead of just the act itself. And how you were able to incorporate their magic flowing between the two and the effects it had on their surroundings was amazing. I love the vurnerablility that Hermione feels when he tries to move away from her and the way that Severus comforts her. So beautiful! You and Dahlra did a wonderful job, as usual! | Excellent. One of my favorite things about the way you write is I greatly appreciate the care and thought you put into the way you describe Severus' voice. It is so perfectly portrayed that my inner voice as I read his lines sounds as if Alan Rickman was reading them himself. Author's Response: It's the voice of my Muse, and his voice is a little like Rickman's, so it helps to use them for reference - and I'm a voice slut, so I'm a sucker for a sexy voice! | |||
