Dear Teddy, I began reading this a few months ago, not realising it was a WIP, so I was very excited to read on your LJ that the story was now complete. It is now 2 AM, I began reading from the beginning yesterday and this evening I just couldn't stop myself. What a wild ride in the last chapter! What a wonderful epic SSHG! And I particularly enjoyed Hermione's hair loving Severus as much as she did. Thank you for a magnificent story. Leigh (aka Melodyssister on LJ)

Author's Response: Thank you so much! I can't tell you how much I appreciate you taking the time to read and comment. Everyone has been so patient as the story was written, and there were times I had to step back and do other projects, but I am so glad to have finished it and received such amazing comments. I just can't put into words how much your words fill my heart with joy.

I've read Father Figure. But I don't agree with the other reader about it being the sequel to this. I prefer this. I just wish your Muse will reconsider putting in the answers to my questions at least in the last chapter or a new chapter...

Author's Response: Yes, FF doesn't quite dovetail, but it's an interesting notion. I suppose all my stories have their common threads running through them.

Oh Teddy, you had my heart racing! Hermione in Azkaban?! In the last chapter!? Oh I was a wreck while reading this lol just another check on the list of Why You're Fantastic At This! I can honestly, and wholeheartedly say that this has been one of my absolute favorite stories to-date. You bring us in and let us feel everything with the characters, every last, little emotion. I know I've been guilty of making faces along with the narrative lol some times in public (that's always a good laugh for everyone lol). All I can really say is thank you for sharing this with us. When someone new finds this they'll fall in love with it like all of us have, and all of us will gratefully come back to it time and time again. Brava, my dear! Brava!

Author's Response: Thank you so much, Half-Blood! I can't tell you all how grateful I am that so many of you have been so patient and stuck by this story. I'm so glad you enjoyed it. It has been a truly life-changing experience to write this, and to share it with good friends like you. I am so proud of the friendships I've made from this story, and I hope I can continue to entertain you with stories in future.

What an epic! Every week I checked to see if this was updated...I've read it since you first began. This (in my opinion) is the best epic fanfic written. Great, great job. It is so good to see the development of Snape's character. I would like to think in J.K.Rowling's books, if he survived, he would have eventually found the same love and acceptance, and been able to return to a society in a way his personality could cope with it. Anyway, I'm rambling. I'm just so happy with the way this story turned out. Thank you for your author's notes at the end.

Author's Response: Thank you so much for your support and your patience all through this journey. I cannot tell you how much I appreciate your kind comments. I really wanted to tell a good story, and this one was a lot bigger than I ever planned it, but I just had to let the Muse tell me what to do. I am so glad you enjoyed it, and stuck by me through all the long months as other projects took priority and real life got in the way. I thank the heavens daily for readers like you, who love the fandom and this pairing, and support authors like me with such care and encouragement.

Wonderful ending! Now can we have the epilogue about their child and ginny and what became of bill weasley? And if yr creativity or imagination stretches that far - about snape's new term as a headmaster of the rebuilt hogwarts - how it has changed and hermione's role in the new sch? I'm sure u'll write fittingly!

Author's Response: Thank you - I'll leave the epilogue to your imagination. I had originally written it to include children, etc, but the Muse wanted it left where it left. One of my readers said the sequel could very well be Father Figure, which I loved.

Lovely story! I almost didn't start it, because the indicator says it isn't completed(and I get heartbroken when I get involved in a story that doesn't get an ending), but I'm glad I did start it and found it completed beautifully. I've enjoyed a lot of your stories and I'm sorry to say I don't write near enough reviews here. You are awesome, thanks for your stories!

Author's Response: Wow! Thank you so much! My editor and I were debating on whether or not I need to go ahead and put the 'Complete' tag, and I think you've just answered that question for me. All that's left are some author's notes for the story. I know exactly how you feel - my favourte SSHG fic of all time is a WIP, and while the author hasn't strictly abandoned it, I don't know if she will ever finish it (but having said that, even if she never does it will still be my favourite!). I'm really glad you enjoyed the story, and I appreciate your kind words so much!

Such a beautiful story! Thank you for taking the time to write it. I will be happily looking for anything else you may decide to write since your writing is awesome

Author's Response: Thank you so much for your lovely comment! I am so glad you enjoyed it. I hope to be writing something for the SSHG Promptfest in December, so hopefully that will be coming soon!
