The tenderness you've written here is aas compelling as any narrative I've read before. From the funeral for her parents, to the solicitor office, to this moment between our two loves here in her new rooms, Severus has stood strong for her and she for him. When he came to her and removed his shirt so she would not have to be the first, tears came to my eyes. As much as he feared her rejection for the ugliness of his scars, he chose to offer her the opportunity to tell him no before she bared her own scar. That, darling, is love at it's most glorious. Kudos to you for your gift with the written word and yor marvelous storytelling. Thank you for making this ship one of the best!!!!!
