An excellent chapter! I quite enjoy the conversations between Hermione and Severus. And this excellent verbal fight between Severus and Sirius was riveting. Looking forward to the next chapter.

Your Snape has a different feel to him. This is the 'book Snape', not my darling Rickman. As much as I adore Rickman, he is just too nice to be Snape. Your Snape is nice-ish, but, there is that 'Spinner's End Trash' flavor to yours rather than the 'I was born and educated in London' flavor. Does that make sense?
Can't wait for the rest of the story ... No, really, I can't wait, you know! Come on!! Author's Response: Whooo hoo! Thanks so much! I, too, adore Rickman, and his voice is the voice in my head, but Snape is a Northern boy, and even though he may have 'tarted up' his accent to hang with the purebloods, the fact is he's a Manc and that's part of what he is.
