| As they say,"Good things come to those who wait", and we've waited patiently for this story to continue and it's been well worth it. The passion and love Severus and Hermione share just literally sucks the breath out of me! To see him regard Hermione as reverently as he does is both beautiful and painful because of how tortured he is in his mind. I have to say, the last scene with Poppy Pomfrey had me in tears...finally, someone who believes and supports them! And, I'd be lying if I said I wasn't having anxiety over what is to come. *chews nails*
Thank you for another wonderful update and for telling Severus Snape's story the way it should have been told. Author's Response: Thank you, babe. Lay Me Low? It should be titled: Deathly Hallows: How It Should Have Ended! Severus and Hermione's relationship is tender and believable (not to mention sexy) and your descriptions and sensory detail are fantastic! Well done!! Author's Response: Thank you so much! | You´re simply brilliant. I´ve been reading the whole thing in one go, it´s 3 am right now and I´ll have to catch at least some hours sleep before another workings day. Anyway, I just want to say a huuuge thank you for writing the story as it should have been told properly in the first place. JKRs musings and actions gave ground for some amazing and heartfelt defense action on behalf of our most beloved potion master. I´m so relying on and trusting in you to give him the life he deserved and expose those evil an conceited characters for what they truly are. How anyone could feel satisfied with the last two installments of the original work is beyond my understanding. So take your time and make this work. We are with you. For the greater good, as always....

| Thank God for Poppy Pomfrey! If it weren't for her, it would be SO easy for Severus and Hermione to lose even more hope of ever being properly seen by the people they once knew as friends. I hope maybe someone else in the Order gets to see they aren't evil, as well. What a wonderful tale you are telling. I look forward to the next chapters! Thanks for all your work. | Whoa! That scene between Dumbledore and Severus was intense! Way to go Severus, you tell him. Very good writing, the scene played out so real as I read it I felt my own blood pressure going up as Severus gave Dumbledore a piece of his mind. Author's Response: Thank you so much! As you can tell, AD isn't my favourite character, and I hate how he left Severus high and dry, all the while telling him it was what he had promised and no doubt deserved. Men like Dumbldore, scheming, manipulative, closed to everything but their own agenda, are just as dangerous as Voldemort, and truth to tell, more so, because they understand love enough to use it as a whip. I hope AD will redeem himself in the end, but I can't say that he will. Thank you for reading and sticking with the story. | |||

| Yay, an update! Love this story. The final scene was so heartbreaking. The contrast between their public and private personae is so stark, and I was so, so relieved to see that Poppy stopped and thought about it for five minutes. I have a feeling she'll be an important ally to them.
