Gods I loathed that man while reading DH and it's only gotten stronger. I can't read the previous books without seeing the true him underneath. "The Greater Good" sounds like a curse now, I can't believe how he used people. At least Voldemort was open about being a monster. I just wish poor Severus had this opportunity in the books. On the Head Table, that was the best line for me haha. I can picture that argument perfectly, Dumbledore stuck with no other choice and hating it...again, pure joy :D But anyway, back to the story I go ;) Author's Response: Thank you so much for your lovely comments. Author's Response: Thank you. I have read 'Granger-Snape' in many fics, and like it - I have always enjoyed them working together on a common foe rather than against one another. I actually have him change his name to Granger in one of my fics. At first I thought this was a different timeline and that Umbridge had simply stayed at Hogwarts for three years, but Hermione mentioned her O.W.L's which are taken during the fifth year. However, you have mentioned several times in the story that she is seventeen. Have you changed her age to make the the story more appropriate? Author's Response: Yes, as the story progresses, it explains her strange age difference. It all has to do with her being a year older than the others to begin with an grave abuse of her time-turner! ;) After this has been explained, it's not really mentioned again.
