| Yay! Severus is coming back! :) I'm very happy about that bit of news. Also, it was neat to see how you intertwined the fates of Harry, Neville, and Severus into the prophecy. | I REALLY hope that you are not so cruel as to kill off Severus - that would not be a nice thing to do! Hermione as the proper owner of the Elder Wand was an interesting twist and it also alleviates the horrible Shrieking Shack scene for Severus. I'm glad that he arrived just in the nick of time and saved Hermione - hopefully, you will save him, too. This passage made me chuckle: "He swayed slightly, and looked around at the bright, barren world around him. He saw nothing but sand, and dunes, and unbroken, shimmering nothingness. If this was death, it was going to be fucking boring." Fabulous work! :) Author's Response: Thank you so much! | I got shivers during that last bit.
I am so loving this story and it's so wonderful that Severus (and Hermione) can share their fight and their burden with others for a change. No matter how much I love the Harry Potter books I hate it in JKR's plots how Severus is repeatedly cut off from everyone on both sides and left to fight alone. I always believed in him but if he'd turned and fought for the dark in that last book I'd have accepted it because the light gave him more pain than heart and soul could handle.
Part way through reading one particular paragrah really struck me. To the point where I had to sit and sketch it out so that I'd remember it in the sea of wonderful fanfic that fills my mind. ...and thanks for including the Pete Townshend quote. I've been loving the songs referenced along the way and have been singing his All Shall Be Well in my head while reading just because I caught "Take Me I'm Yours" (a song perfectly suited for many HGSS fics) as a chapter heading while working my way through. I didn't for a moment imagine one of his songs would get a look in. It made be ridiculously happy. :)

Since the story itself was based on a song, I got this crazy idea to use different tunes as introductions to each chapter. Even my beta now teases me about it. The last two chapters were originally written together and she suggested I break them into two, saying, "Be thinking about what song will go with this part." | I'm rereading this story so I have the plot down well. It is an irresistible tale and your writing makes it such a delight to read.
Sirius is such scum I just want to punch him. I like how Severus wants to protect her though I prefer Hermione evolving to a more assertive woman.

Congratulations as well on another moving chapter. I can see things beginning to move to a close, which is both exciting and a little sad. This is one of those fics that you don't ever want to end, yet can't wait for another chapter.

| The first time I readt this, I was too desperate to know that Snape survived to really take it all in. This is a thing I love about this story - it grows better with each subsequent rereading.
