Hooray! I can't even recall if I started reading this story here or on FF but it doesn't matter since you updated it. It's been ages since I read it and was so pleased with the way you developed it. I loved the RAB and horocrux twists. Good luck finishing up!!!

Author's Response: Thank you so much for hanging in there and being so patient. I had hoped to update before the end of July, but RL has transpired against that, so I'm shooting for August. I plan to finish this fall come hell or high water (2013)! I'm glad you enjoyed it. I am updating here and TPP only. I didn't want to risk it being pulled during the ff.net purges, so I took it down from there. Perhaps one of these days I'll put it back, but it'll be here for sure.

Oh how I have loved reading this story! I have laughed and even cried! I love this version of Harry Potter better than the books, mainly because Sev gets to live but also you have genuinely put a lot of thought into this! Please do update and never abandon this story! I have added to my faves so I can continue reading. I certainly hope the next chapter will be up soon, yes? I hope so! Thank you for a great read! Loving it!

Author's Response: Thank you so very much. I promise this story will never be abandoned. I appreciate everyone being so very patient while I worked on other projects, but this one is just a couple of chapters away from the end, and I promise never to abandon it. Thank you for your wonderful comments. I am thrilled you have enjoyed it so much.

I was so excited when I saw a new chapter was up! I've been saving this up as a treat, and it was definitely worth the wait. So glad to have you back :)

Author's Response: Thank you so much! I have been so touched by everyone's patience and encouragement - I promise I won't take so long before the next one.

This is my first review ever in this forum - just had to say THANK YOU for writing this lovely work and I'm so glad you're not giving up on it. Your prose is so beautiful, and I absolutely love the way you write Severus and Hermione - true to character, but so much more fleshed out. I can't wait to read more!

Author's Response: Thank you so very much for your wonderful words! I can't tell you how much they mean to me. I am almost done with the next chapter, so I can promise it won't be another year between updates! I really appreciate your patience, and I hope you will continue to enjoy the story.

This whole story is simply brilliant - an unparalleled accomplishment of blending canon w/ an amazing, creative original plot! I have immensely enjoyed this very well-thought out & written story, but felt compelled to share just how effectively you brought to life authentic emotions from both Severus & Hermione in an anti-horcrux journey worthy of both their souls! I loved how you wove her canon regrets that were completely forgivable leading to the ultimate conclusion that the killing curse isn't always "unforgivable." She was forgiven before the deed was done, as is evidenced when Dumbledore was actually part of her subconscious waiting to confirm that her regret for killing him was not only necessary, but a kindness and forgiven; that her soul was indeed intact - she only needed to get in touch w/ that which was hidden beyond the "glamour" (surface appearance) of what she did. When she tells Severus at the end of the chapter (paraphrasing here) that there is nothing to forgive it has already been forgiven, I was left with a real peaceful feeling. It really summed everything beautifully! All I could think was, "Bravo!" and compelled to tell you so. :)

Author's Response: Wow! Thank you so much. I can't tell you how grateful I am for your amazing review. I'm just at a loss for words how blown away I am. This story has been such a personal journey for me, and reading comments like yours truly make me feel that not only has it been personally fulfilling but something other readers can enjoy. I hope you will continue to enjoy it. I am looking forward to updating very soon - I promise not to go so long between chapters this time.
