“Nowadays, I know something is right for me to do BECAUSE I am afraid to do it.” Heh heh... where do I recognize THAT statement from? I should have guessed that Sirius would accuse Severus of predating. He would never be content to just shut up.

Author's Response: Sweetie, you inspired me so much during this part of the story, and when you told me that, I knew I had to have Hermione say it. I still tell myself this all the time - it's one of the many mantras you've taught me, and I am grateful for them. <3

just finished your story... you made me laugh and cry, and sometimes both at the same time. this is by far one of the best fan fics I have read to date. thank you so much for this wonderful story, as I know I will be reading it again.

Author's Response: Thank you so much for your lovely comments. I really appreciate it so much.

As if Voldemort doesn't interfere ENOUGH in Severus' life! Very good chapter for establishing his mood -- I could FEEL his angst and frustration, first in wanting her, and then in trying to convey to her how she must flee from him NOW.

Author's Response: Thank you sweet Mimi! I'm so glad you are enjoying the story!

Oh, Teddy... This is the tale that taught me about second chances. About sheer stubborn dogged faith that somehow things will work out right. Every word thrums with life and light and - most of all - unadulterated love. Every sentence pulses with the power of your bond with your muse. Every turn of phrase shines blindingly with passion and the perfection of your surrender to creation. You, my dear, are a wonder of this world. Thank you for sharing this piece of your soul with us. I will hold it safe in my heart, because it is beautiful and lovely and true. Gods all bless you - Gods all bless your Muse - Be well ~S

Author's Response: Sararia, I don't have the words to express how much your beautiful comment shook me to my very core. I cannot thank you enough for your incredible words. Nothing I could write would ever be adequate to articulate how this has thrilled and touched me. All I can do is humbly thank you for taking the time to read my story and to write this stunning review. I will never forget this, and on the days when my faith is weak, and I wonder if my dream of being a writer is an empty one, I will return to your words, and find the strength I need to trust in Dahlra and keep going. Bless you for your inspiration and encouragement. I thank you from the bottom of my heart and soul.

Wow - this has been a rollercoaster of a ride! I have enjoyed every gut clenching, thrill seeking, heart stopping, tear jerking word of it. I wish I had your vision and talent to write a story like this. More please!

Author's Response: Thank you so much! I'm really glad you enjoyed it. I had fun, and insights, and sleepless nights writing it, but I wouldn't have missed it for the world!

A grand story indeed! I loved that you didn't have Harry automatically end up with Ginny. I've never particularly cared for her, either in canon or the movies. (Was anyone else creeped out by the way movie Ginny resembled movie Lily?) I liked your descriptions of the Malfoys. Well done, and thank you so much for all of your hard work. If I could give you "100", I would!

Author's Response: Thank you so very much! I was more creeped out at the total lack of chemistry between poor Daniel Radcliffe and Bonnie Wright - it was painful to watch them kiss. I'm so glad you enjoyed the story! :)

I'm glad I was out of town and missed the updates--this way I got to read these last chapters together, uninterrupted. Excellent stuff! Yet another "10"!

Author's Response: Thank you! And thank you for your patience while I was working on these last chapters. I know it took a crazy long time to finish, but what I didn't want to do is just tack on an ending and say, "And they all lived happily ever after" and for some reason, it was difficult to bring it all together. The combination of real life and other projects conspired against it, so I just had to wait until DMuse was ready to give me the goods. I'm glad you enjoyed it, truly.

I like your way of describing the waves of things happening. I found it inspired you had them chant in Parseltongue. Wow. Quite a chapter. Thank you for all your hard work.

Author's Response: Thank you. This was by far the hardest chapter to write - it took me almost a year! I'm glad you enjoyed it.
