I am truly enjoying this story..You have an amazint talent and I thank you for it...and you also do great cliffys!! ahh I want that wedding night lol..Is there any way on this site to let me know when this story has been updated so I can read next chappie when its done!! :)

Author's Response: Thank you so much. Even as I type, the next chapter is at the cleaners, and my beta hoped to have it back to me last night, but you know how tricky wedding nights can be! I don't think there is anyway to notify from this website, but if you are on LiveJournal, I always let my friends know I've updated from there. If you're there, please feel free to friend me.

What a lovely, endearing chapter. I can't wait for the next one. Dumbledore's mind must be slipping; he is being unbelievably callous. He must also think he will live forever judging from his comments about waiting to find out the truth. He will die before "all is revealed" and no one will have the plan. Shame on him not to trust Snape. About the wedding, is Graetna Green a wizarding place? There wasn't any magic in display during or after the wedding. Anyway, this was an amazing chapter. Please keep them coming; you are a fantastic writer.

Author's Response: Thank you, Kermit. Gretna Green is an actual place in Scotland, and eloping couples used to get married there because there were no local laws on marriage there, and virtually anyone could marry there on a moment's notice. Now it is more of a symbolic place to get married (sort of a classier version of Las Vegas), but the laws have changed and you have to adhere to the marriage laws of Scotland now, which is why Hermione told Severus to confund the registrar so he'd think they'd already fulfilled all the requirements. Thank you for you kind words. They are a balm to the spirit.

This is the best story ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Erm... now that I've gotten that out. I really do like this story a lot. I've always liked stories where Hermione takes an active role in Severus' corner (he needs someone there!). Hermione is committed to Severus' continued existence and happiness so much that it shows the kind of love that everyone dreams of. I also like that Dumbledore is kind of a bastard but not really evil, just, well point being, I think you do a really good job of painting that picture, although it seems like he may be leaning more towards the bad side of things with the curse. I am eager to hear what Hermione saw in Bellatrix's mind. I'm also glad things are moving a little faster now, in the first chapters I suppose you were trying to establish the emotion bond between the two (which was amazing), but now that things are getting perilous I'm eager for action! I think you have a real gift for words. Your turn of phrase really astounds me at some times, where I go back to read something again just because I loved the way the words were put together so much. Speaking specifically for this chapter, I laughed over the judge/priest/whatever feelings that he really like the couple, he just wasn't sure why.

Author's Response: Thank you very much!!!!!!!!! I hope you will continue to enjoy it. I have a few more chapters up my sleeve. Thank you for such an amazing review. As I told dirtieshorrtie, I love a reviewer that not only tells me what parts they like, but WHY they like it. I will endeavour to keep the action moving - we're now starting to go full steam ahead.

Two chapters in very rapid succession! And still no wedding night? </tease> Gorgeously done. I bet Severus wishes that he hadn't bothered going to see Dumbledore, though. That man!! Well, probably less said about him the better. Looking forward very much to when you and your new beta get a chance to get the next chapter out..

Author's Response: She's hoping to get it back to me this evening - now I gotta start on Chapter 19...

"He was so tired of feeling badly made, like an ugly doll, pieced together with mismatched parts." You have some really beautifully worded lines, but this one is my very favorite.

Author's Response: Thank you so very much, sarah! I hope you will continue to enjoy the story.

Well, at least Severus got up to speed in the end. I guess this means that we have seven months or less before the end of it all. Illusory pregnancy is one thing. Illusory baby could be bigger problem... unless they plan to fake a miscarriage.

Author's Response: It's all an illusion by now....

It's been a couple of years since I was at Gretna, Teddy. We go there on our way up to visit Daughter no.2 in Edinburgh and they have a fab retail outlet park.....but it's all coming back to me now. Being dragged from the car park and signing a wedding register for a handsome but unusual couple......hmmm! In a condensed version.....DD as usual makes my bloody blood boil. IMO he was worse than Riddle........ but the rest of this chapter........just lovely and sublime. And amidst all the angst and worry, they are generating their own happiness and light and creating their new lives together. Aaaaaand we've not even got to the "How's yer father" yet. I can't wait. Best wishes, Love Ali xxxxx.

Author's Response: Thank you, as always, Ali. I think next chapter may make up for it. (sniff, sniff), what's that lovely smell? Lemon Meringue Pie????

Does he have a twin somewhere? I've got a husband I'd like to trade in, please! This Severus is written so absolutely lush and lovely...I want to bring him home and love him to death! Spoil him till his eyeballs roll back in his head! Damn!

Author's Response: Well, somebody has to... ;) The trick is to keep him enough in character so I don't get the dreaded OOC flames inferno raging through the story. That usually spells death to a fic, so it's a very fine line. Just wait until school starts again. He's not a Slytherin spy for nothing!
