| I'm always excited when you post another chapter and this one is, again, marvellous! The development of Hermione's past is so thrilling and well-written and you really manage to make me loath characters I find otherwise great in the books, like Harry. | "Do you hate me now?” When Severus could only answer her by saying they would talk when he returned, I felt my world unravel. I can't bear that she is feeling that she is no longer important to her husband. I do hope they can take time to be with each other and remember how important they are to the other. Thanks for another fabulous chapter!!! Beth
Author's Response: It was a very difficult moment to write, I'll tell you! I hate seeing these two in conflict, as the world is conflicted enough at this point. The next chapter is in the queue, and hopefully that will solve a few problems. | |||

| Wow, that was intense. Omg, I'm so worried about Harry right now. All I can think about is Hermione isn't there to help him deal with Dumbledore's death and on top of it he's hating her for killing him AND hating her for marrying Severus. It must have been so hard for him to hear Severus say “She what? Touches me? Fucks me? I’ll bet the thought of it just eats you alive, doesn’t it, Potter?” I'm not sure why, but that was my favorite part about this chapter. I'm really worried about Hermione too. She's probably so traumatized right now....I wish her husband would get over whatever is holding him back right now and just go to her cuz she needs him so. Anyways, all in all, great chapter. I can't wait for the next one. Author's Response: Thank you so much. I was a little afraid this chapter would be a bit of a let down after the previous one, but so much of what happened needed to be told, and my wonderful readers just got it perfectly. | And he's still leaving her alone. I wonder, is it because he's worried, disgusted with himself, in shock that she actually did the deed, freaked out that Dumbledore manipulated her like that, anxious about Voldemort's plans, or aprehensive about their future? I don't know, but he's still leaving her all alone. Poor Hermione. She's trying to do what's right, following her heart, losing her friends (i.e. Harry and Ron and Ginny by extension), is in major PT shock, and worried about her marriage now. Going through all that and not having any comfort would cut my sanity in half. I wouldn't be suprised if she had a nervous breakdown even with Calming Draughts! No peace for the wicked, they say - and the wise will be driven mad... Author's Response: It is a terrible thing, guilt, but Severus is at least thinking in the right direction. Poor Hermione's in a bad way, though. She doesn't feel ANYTHING right now, which, if you think on it, might not be a bad thing at the moment... | |||

| Honey...I'm hoooome! Oh Shazbatz Teddy that was worth coming back off the cruise for. You know DD really is a bad bastard and I can't understand why ANYONE thinks he's a delightful, clever, magical old man. He's a swine! Nice touch when Sev mistook Harry for James. No doubt this would definitely put all Lily ghosts to bed as he acknowledged that HERMIONE was his....not Lily. What a triumph this story is and certainly one of the epics. Can't wait for more. | You slay me! I can never imagine how you can get better, but you do it every time! I read it and felt like I was on a train ride to hell - please tell me that there is a return ticket! Poor Hermione, and Severus better get to fixing things. Harry isn't going to want to forgive, but to be honest... I hope he chokes on it at the end. Yeah, I hope he finds out what Dumbles did and Hermione just rides off into the sunset with her beau - just happily ever after! Author's Response: For you, sweetie, I'll call in all my favours...
