I thought I had read this before, but was wrong. I certainly would have remembered such an original epic. I hope you have or will have success in a professional writing career. You are certainly qualified for it.

Author's Response: Thank you so much for your kind words. They are very much appreciated. I'm really glad you enjoyed the story.

*sigh* and again I've come to the end :( I loved them escaping everything and doing a runner to some gorgeously exotic places, just living and loving each other. And Hogwarts wanting its Headmaster back was beautiful. This story was as stunning as when I first layed eyes on it, you're a Goddess walking amongst us Teddy. Thank you from the bottom of my heart x x x x

Author's Response: Jen, thank you for always being so amazingly encouraging and supportive. . It is a privilege to write; it is an honour to receive such a lovely comment for it. I can't tell you how much I appreciate your warm words.

Even the best and truest of couples can reach breaking point, theirs just happened at possibly the single most dangerous moment so far. I can't begin to imagine the guilt he'll heap upon himself for this. It was heartbreaking to see him shutting her out and then being so cruel, especially after she's been shut out by almost every single person in their world. Apart from Poppy and Severus, she has no-one, not one single person in that castle who doesn't revile her. They may have both needed a little smack upside the head...Malfoy Manor was maybe a little too excessive a punishment ;)

Author's Response: Yes, this was by far the toughest chapter to write. I am not a writer who loves to see her 'couples' in conflict; I would much rather have them fighting a common foe than one another. Poor Jules my beta even said, "Whew, that was hard to read!"

Ron really isn't my favourite character (well duh, else why would I be manically following this ship, haha) and he's so very easy to loathe but I really enjoy this intelligent Ron of yours. I mean he's so often portrayed as being as thick as a stump that it's nice to see him using his brain...and not throwing an absolute wobbler. It's still an evil end to the chapter though with those stupid gits plotting revenge, where would you be without cliffies ;)

Author's Response: Thank you! In the early books, Ron was portrayed as a decently intelligent person (he was the best chess player, after all), and unfortunately his character sort of dummed down in later books, which I think is a pity. I think he would have been intelligent, just a little on the lazy side. And he was constantly in Harry's shadow, which, for a kid sort of lost in his large family, must have been hard to swallow as well. It was fun letting his inherent abilities show through here.

Ouch, Vectors words will have bitten so deeply into Hermione. She's always seemed to be one of her favourite teachers (to me anyway) next to Minerva. To have that vitriol spewed at her, whatever shreds of truth it holds, must have been near unbearable. Again, seeing Poppy (not Pomona, lmao) piece it together and still stand by them so staunchly was pure joy. I love that woman, she's so strong and capable throughout everything. You couldn't ask for a more steadfast ally.

Author's Response: Thank you! I have always thought Poppy would be a great ally, and would understand.

Ugh, that sack of gold Albus gave her tastes rotten, like an assassins payment. Bloody, manipulative, conniving cretin! As glad as I am that Hermione spared Severus of that abhorrent task it should never have fallen to her. If he needed release from the pain he should have had the decency to off himself and spare everyone. I know, I know TDL needed the 'show of good faith' and all that rot by one of his soon to be useless followers proving their loyalty. It all makes horribly good sense and an even better story, but it burns inside that Hermione took that bullet. That Severus has to feel the guilt and just pure shittyness of her doing that, all for him. This is as riveting as the first time I laid eyes on it.

Author's Response: Thank you so much! I'm always so happy when I see one of your reviews. I appreciate so much that you time the time to tell me WHY you enjoy a particular chapter - that is music to a writer's ears. When I was writing this part, I always knew I wanted her to do the deed, but man, it was hard to write.

As much as Voldemort creeps me out, it's nothing compared to the 'lovely' Bellatrix *shudders* That insane bint scares the bejeezus outta me!! I have no idea how Hermione managed to keep her reactions from spilling out (along with the contents of her stomach!) but that chapter was harrowing even though I've read it before, I still get nervous thinking something will go wrong.

Author's Response: Thank you! Yes, I agree - Bellatrix is probably more dangerous than Voldemort because of her instability. She really is batshit crazy! ;)

Poppy, not Pomona...I don't know where my mind has gone *sigh*

Author's Response: LOL No worries. I love writing both of them ;)
