Your writing has transported me. Hermione's mind in the minutes, the seconds before and after casting that Aveda made me feel like I did it...my heart was pounding so hard.

Author's Response: Thank you so much for your lovely comment.

Oh my good gracious!!!!! I loved this story. I sped read through this like I did DH:). Severus is by far my fave character in the whole series, and I now love the sshg pairing more than any other. He is a sexy beast in this story and I love it. Can't wait to sift through more of your stuff.

Just wow. I have read so many epic length fics and it's rare to find one so beautifully written. I've read mammoth 300 chapter long fics, and I've read one shots that are short and sweet and powerful. Yet nothing I've ever read has ever resonated so deeply, the writing is almost hypnotic and for 3 days solid I lived and breathed this fic. When I finished it, it felt like the ending to Harry Potter I've always wanted. Where I sobbed my heart out at the end of Rowling's story, instead I finished yours with stunned silence, complete awe and a sense of grounded finality and peace. Needless to say, I love this story and will read it many times over. Thank you.

Author's Response: What a beautiful comment. I cannot thank you enough for your kind and life-giving words. I am so happy you enjoyed the story and took the time to read it - you have truly made my day. Your eloquence and sincerity and passion have moved me beyond words. All I can truly say is Thank you, thank you, thank you.

I'm confused. Professor clearly said St. Mungo's when they flooed but it seems that they ended up in Hogwarts' hospital wing. There were no description of other annoying hospital staff nor any supporting logic to contrary. Hm. Minor setback but can be overlooked.

Author's Response: Actually what he said was that he only trusted Poppy, but you cannot Floo directly into the Infirmary from outside Hogwarts except through St Mungo's. Therefore he Floo-ed to St Mungo's so that he could go directly from there to Hogwarts.

I started to read this story about 5 times. I would get so far and would stop. It wasn't finished, I would get distracted by other aspects of my life, etc.. I had since read other fan fics and had buried this story in my favorites to read later. I finally took the time to read it from start to finish. Many nights I fell asleep with my phone still in my hand, drifting off mid sentence, because I could not put this story down. I went through cycles of pity, anger, resentment, pride, love, I shed tears, and I laughed. I couldn't have asked for anything more out of a story. I loved it. This is by far my favorite fan fic. Thank you for writing it.

Author's Response: THank you so very much! I appreciate that you stuck with the story, and I'm so happy you feel this way - you have made my day! <3 <3

My god, what a masterpiece. I usually read sshg fics like popcorn: one handful after another, but this one I need to sit with for a while. Your writing is wonderfully evocative, and the plot truly satisfying -- it seems unbelievable that you didn't have the whole thing pegged down scene and line before you started. This is also a more flawed Severus than I am used to seeing, and the story is much richer for it. So damn good! Thank you for sharing it.

Author's Response: Thank you so very much! I am thrilled you enjoyed the story - it has come to mean a great deal to me, and if means the world to me that you would take the time to read it and write to me! <3
