| I love your depiction of Snape's character; it seems so completely "spot-on." It is very interesting to see things from his point of view. | Very intriguing! :) I like how Hermione has figured that Snape is the "wizard in the picture." | I'm glad that Hermione was able to provide some assistance to a wounded Snape. And his parting act - that of covering her with the blanket - was an appropriate way for him to acknowledge her help. Great job and I can't wait to read more! :) Also, I have to say that I love your disclaimer; the bit about "...J.K. Rowling, who let my entire reason for reading Harry Potter bleed to death on the floor of the Shrieking Shack" describes my thoughts on DH perfectly. :) Author's Response: Thank you so much for not only taking the time to read the story again, but to also comment on the chapters. | I've read most of this story before, but never got around to reviewing it, so I've decided to reread it and be a dutiful reviewer. I've enjoyed your other stories, so I know that this one will also be worth the time to read it. I particularly liked reading about Sirius Black from Snape's point of view; when considered from Snape's perspective, Sirius does seem more threatening and less likable than he appears in the HP books. This is an intriguing first chapter - I can't wait for Snape and Black to fight over Hermione! :) Author's Response: Well, I have to keep remembering that, until things were made clearer, Severus believed with the rest of the world that Sirius had been James and Lily's secret keeper, and therefore the one who betrayed them to the Dark Lord. I can only imagine how angry and betrayed he felt by Dumbledore knowing that Albus had helped Hermione and Harry stage his escape. I'm so happy you are enjoying the story again. | |||

| This is a stunningly beautiful chapter; without a doubt, it is the most erotic scene I have ever read. I loved how you described both Hermione and Severus's varying emotions throughout this experience because it made the moment so much more authentic than just describing the physical act. When Severus told Hermione, "I will make you happy you chose me,” I literally said, "Awww!" I'm glad that you are portraying him faithfully, insecurities and all. And I can't get Severus's aching desperation out of my head - you've created so many images that have overpowered my senses. Magnificent work! :) This chapter deserves a rating so much higher than just a mere 10! Author's Response: Thank you, I think, as moments of smut go, this is probably my finest hour - I certainly have never been able to write anything as satisfying since! I'm trying to write one right now, and I was strugging, but I think my Muse wanted me to read your comment to remind me how to portray them when they do come together - so thank you for allowing me to remember how to write for them! | |||

| Hi Teddy....yeah I knew it was Regulus who would be meeting him in the after-life.....NOT! What a great surprise as you know I thought previously it would be the ubiquitous and extremely undeserving Lily. So great big kudos for that twist. God almighty though you really have been tugging on the old heartstrings and that was a brilliant chapter. I was scrolling down slowly and softly willing it not to end. You say these chapters are writing themselves ...that is perhaps more by pure instinct rather than careful planning? Whatever is motivating you , you should bottle and sell it. I don't plan out a chapter, and I don't have any idea what the next chapter will be - I have an idea what I want to put in it, but my Muse is the driving factor - what he says, I type.
