| OMG, this was powerful! Hermione is interested and a bit confused. Dumbledore is playing his terrible games with hints and inuendo. And Severus is *this close* to confessing his own desire for her.
And that damned Dark Lord has just summoned him right when I think I'm about to witness a confession of love.
I'm lovin' this story, and I'm off to the next chapter to see what happens next!

| Getting very dark, Teddy. Almost had to read this chapter hiding behind a cushion a la Dr Who! And she cottoned onto his statement about the Dark Lord knowing that he desired her. I always thought that was a very intriguing thing that Voldemort told Harry. That "there were other women"......"He merely desired her " (Lily). It gave me goosebumps as I wondered who they might be.
