| Nice! I definitely buy the dateRapist!Sirius. After all, he arranged to have Severus murdered, and he's always been portrayed with charisma, even after years of suffering under the weight of Dementors. As for Severus... the sooner he falls for Hermione, the better! Poor soul... He reminds me of the lyrics, "How can I feel abandoned even when the world surrounds me? How can I bite the hand that feeds the strangers all around me? How can I know so many, never really knowing anyone? If I seem superhuman I have been misunderstood." And the nod to his difficulty with the word 'coward' is a beautiful touch! Hermione's reactions in the library were picture-perfect, though I tend to think that she must have some sort of sexual trauma in her childhood, else she wouldn't be so apt to freeze in response to Sirius' advances. I can totally buy Sirius as one of those men who seeks out women with that 'freeze' response.

| And the Oscars go to.... Severus Snape and Hermione Granger for Best Actor and Best Actress in a whale of a chapter! *the audience claps wildly* You kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time. I wonder what it was that Hermione saw in Bellatrix's mind... must be a doozie! With Voldemort convinced that Hermione is two months pregnant, I guess that means that they have seven months to engineer his demise before he would become suspicious. Hummmm... a lot can happen in seven months. Now, these two need to get married! Before Narcissa comes to visit. Thanks for another great chapter! Beth

| Oh, boy! My emotions have been all over the place as I've read this chapter. I really love Hermione here, her determination to make Dumbledore agree to her demands was spectacular. I wanted to strangle the Headmaster for trying to make it seem like all the fault for everything could be laid at the feet of Tom Riddle and Severus. Hooray for Hermione to putting a stop to that at the first opportunity. And now she has a bag of Galleons in her hands and has just asked Severus to marry her! Woo hoo! I'm off to the next chapter to see what happens next. Thanks again for a wonderful read. Beth
