| That definitely could have gone worse, but it all worked out well in the end.
Now, I'm worried about Draco. Can he pull it off without being hurt? Can he follow in Severus' footsteps as the new spy?

| Your updates are always pleasantly frequent :) I don't know how you manage to write so much. Is the entire thing finished already? Or are you just a fantastically fast typer? | Your Lucius is a bit OOC, but I don't mind in this story. Usually I want him to DIE, DIE, DIE, but I don't in this story. So glad Hermione and Severus got the part about Lily done and over with. Now it's one less thing between them. Glad you got sime lemony goodness in this chapter. Will be interesting to see how the old Voldie followers use Hermione against Severus. Author's Response: Yes, Lucius is OOC some. Things in the past changed him. There will be minor detail on that to come. In most fics, he's the jerk that he appears to be in the story! LOL. I have this thing for bad boys though hehe. The plot thickens! more up in a bit. | |||

| I enjoy this story, but I want to be honest and say that I think they transitioned from "I can't stand you" to "Oh, how I want you" faster than is fully plausible given their initial feelings for each other. They also don't seem to express any real anger over being manipultated they way they are. I understand that they were somehow destined to be together, hence the visits, but at this juncture I'd still be resentful. They really don't know each other, except that they're being compelled to join on a physical level. That's very different from a genuine emotional bond, which takes more than a matter of a week or two to form. Perhaps there is more to this than what you've shown us so far, in which case I'll cheerfully shut up. I love the premise, and the detail you put into this. Author's Response: lol. well you are the first to say so. to each his own, i always say. i thought i had explained it well enough. Let's see.... Hermione: plagued each night by a phantom lover. She feels things she never felt before. She begins to meld these experiences with the professor she knows. She accepts what these visits 'prophesize' so to speak. at some point in the future, they would have been together anyway, so she allows herself to dwell on that. I'm sure she explained all of this to Harry somewhere in there. Not to mention, the fact that if they didn't couple it could have meant total destruction for one or both of them. Snape: He didn't want it. I think he expressed a fair amount of emotion over the subject. Just because I didn't have him going off and destroying most of the castle, didn't mean he wasn't upset. I had so many parts where he went through everything in his mind. He's a man. He began to make comparison's between the two, he began to feel possessive, and he began to accept the fact that, yes, it did say they would be together one day. They've been having long talks, and they've been getting to know each other better. I think i mention that in there. I can't, or won't rather, go into detail over every little conversation that they have. There are other things that are going to happen, but I'm afraid, much to your dismay, they will continue to feel the way they do about each other from this point on. Just a few more things. I would suggest that you not read any more though if you can't see them together after all they've gone through. You'd still be resentful, most people would, but this is an impressionable, inexperienced girl who loves the idea of being loved. This is a man that finds himself caring after he never hoped to care again. Like both characters said, "Why fight this?" Why, indeed. Thanks though for the review. I was thinking it was chapter 20, but I see that it's only chapter 8. You said something like perhaps there is more than what I've shown so far. Well, yes...there are 12 more chapters....and they explain things. Maybe read straight through a story before posting something like that. I was like good grief...what more does this person want? But, i see now that you haven't read the entire story, so I can understand that then. | |||
