| I know I have told you in countless reviews how much I absolutely adore this story. I have been following it for a while now and check for updates everyday. As much as I want to know whats going to happen next I feel sad with every passing chapter like I am about to say good bye to a dear friend. Severus and Hermione are my favorite ship and I can never read enough fics about them. This chapter was nearly my undoing. I was reading about the birth and when it was said that Hermione was lost I was sobbing!!! I had to stop reading and pace the room for a bit before I could continue on. I am teary just writting about it now. The reason I am telling you this is because your talent has literally reached through and touched my heart. That is a great and rare thing to happen. It is not often that the written word can convey such emotions and draw out the responses that this story has. Thanks for sharing this wonderful tale and I will keep looking for more from you. But, I needed to do that. No worries. They will be back in part 2 :) As I wrote the bit about Hermione, I wasn't sad b/c I planned on Harry taking over, but when I went back to read again. | I loved this story! I've been trough all fifty chapters and now I leave you a little review.
I nearly started crying when I thought Hermione would be dead, that would just have been too cruel, I think I would rather have Harry die then her, in this story atleast.
It was a great plot, and I really liked your style too. I hope you do write a prequel and sequel, that would be lovely.

| Omg you nearly got a nasty review for letting Hermione die! Good thing I remembered at the last moment that you believe in happy endings. :D you stopped my heart girlie. I'm glad Lucius was there for him. I thought for sure that they were going to have a fight right on the spot. I can't believe how messed up Ginny was, good lord, what was she thinking? Heaven forbid that she would just talk to Harry about her insecurities.
Wow this was an amazing chapter. I do have one question though when Luna and Draco did the deed did Ron ever find out? And more to the point would he have cared? I think he would have felt betrayed.
Eagerly awaiting the next saga in this adventure.

| What has impressed me so much about your writing is how you took the legend and made it new. You gave both creatures more power with their shape-shifting abilities. They were much more of a threat and your skill in doing this makes for a wonderful story.
I have read the first eleven chapters this afternoon and I am entranced. You are very talented and the fact you challenge legends I'm comfortable/bored with shows you are very adept at your craft.
Your writing is hypnotic, addicting and refreshing.

| Glad to know he loves her enough that he's not squicked by a little blood now and then. I'm glad they are so close and are both remaining seemingly rational about their relationship. I'm interested in where you are going with this Severus-as-Harry's-mentor business. Your Severus seems to be balanced enough to help guide a young Harry; even your Lucius seems to have a decent head on his shoulders, and goodness knows they both have a "broad" enough experience base from which Harry (and Draco) could benefit. I also like that your Harry seems to have a really solidly balanced head on his shoulders, even if he has juvenile taste in jewerly ;-) I'm enjoying this read quite a bit. Thanks for sharing these lovely chapters with us! Speaking of jewerly, I know it is kind of early but will Severus be presenting any of his own jewelry to Hermione anytime soon? Perhaps I shall have to continue reading to find out. Thanks again for the great post! Author's Response: glad to see you are still reading! I try to keep severus from being...a softy.
