The professsors' game of charades was funny.
The scene at Hermione's parents' home was well-done: not so much chit-chat that it got boring, but the important points were made.

| The mystery with the leg injury is keeping the story going, but the whole domestic life-pregnancy thing is kind of boring. Just being honest, no flame. It's not going to stop me reading or anything. :-) Author's Response: Poor dear. When I saw this review the other day, I wanted to tell you that you might as well stop reading if you don't like the domestic bits because it's littered with it. I find that I like that sort of stuff at times. But then, I figured you might like the dark!harry / background stuff (which you don't as i now see). LOL Can't win for losing. I adore dark!Harry though. :) | |||

Snape seems very different now from how he was at the beginning. Is that what the love of a good woman has done to him? Author's Response: Very embarrassing. Yes, unfortunately, Snape is being nicer, which is a good thing for hermione I suppose. | |||

Also not a very well-thought-out way (on her part) of making a good impression on future students. She wants them to respect her, not have wet dreams about her, for goodness' sake!

I love that you mention the smells: Draco commenting on how good Hermione smells, and Hermione swooning over Severus's scent.
Oh. Taken aback by Severus's neediness. That and his forthrightness at speaking of it in such a manner to Hermione. He's really opening up to her quickly.
Severus taking tender care of Hermione: touching. The staff teasing him the next morning: hilarious.
Well. Now that we're this far already, I'm wondering why the story goes on for forty-five more chapters. Not that I'm complaining, mind. Just seems like we're more than half-way to the finish. But apparently not... Author's Response: I don't care for slut!hermione either. Well, you'll be surprised that the story isn't about ss/hg coupling and living happily ever after without the "entity" in their lives. LOL. It's actually a bit more than that. About Severus' neediness, well, I think we all need someone, and if she's the one, as per earlier discussions, maybe it's all right to slip up a bit and show her that. If I could redo this story properly, I would, but I'm afraid I can't take the time to do so. | |||
