| Oh, dear. I'm always prey to anxiety about the suspenseful parts, because sometimes writers think they need to be bold in order to be artistically valid, and they take it too far, resulting in ick. | This is getting into an area that I've been wanting to see develop. I think that Severus and Harry should be friends, even surrogate family. It just feels so right, the way you've written it. | I think we've all done some pretty disgusting things in our dreams, things that have us cringeing in mortification at the memory afterward. The Id comes out in dreams, and Severus' horrified reaction to his unrefined darker impulses is exactly right. Good job. Author's Response: Thank you. I was worried people would say, "Oh, that's too harsh." But, as you said, hell, we all have funky dreams at times that make us think we've gone mad when we wake. | |||

| I violently disagree with whoever said Severus should not be a capricorn. He is very very capricorn to me: Ambitious, an authority, someone who likes to go on his own, structured, in controll. As I have my decenden in capricorn I am quite attracted to men with these qualities - in fact that was one of the first things I thought about when I met the Severus Snape of fanfiction. Funny that JKR made him a capricorn. Just goes to show she knows her characters. PS. I love the story - Brisinggammen Author's Response: Thanks! I looked up some stuff about capricorns after that, and I was like, "This is Snape!!" I figured she must have looked up some things as well! Hehe! Thank you. | ...some women that he’d raped... Are we talking about Severus here? Ewwwww! I don't like that idea, boss! He's supposed to be an honorable man, and an honorable man simply doesn't do that. Author's Response: Indeed. They don't kill people either. I'd like to think what he did in the past is in the past though. I've done things in my past that I would never do now.
