| Ah. I think you handled Hermione's parents well. I'm sure they'd be upset- although it is sad she has to go through that. Ugh. | I for one am glad they didn't just hug like nothing happened. I mean really what parents would. Keep it coming, although if there's a miscarriage I will be forced to cry... | Poor Hermione! I can't believe Hermione's parents refused to listen to her-they just basically told her to come back when she had grown up! I know they're upset, but they could've been more open-minded, couldn't they? It took Hermione a lot of courage to tell them about their situation and about their child, they could've at least listened to why Hermione made her choices in that way. I guess when it comes to their children, sometimes parents refuse to listen to reason. But I sense something else in their attitudes toward Hermione-is that they don't like the fact that she's a witch? It seems unlikely they'd be disappointed because they weren't informed of Hermione's situation, I have a feeling that they're not happy that Hermione belongs in the magical world. From their conversation, mabye they were hoping that Hermione would someday settle down with a person who was 'normal' rather than settling down with a wizard. Hermione has accomplished so much and yet, in their eyes, it doesn't matter to them. At least, that's what I'm getting. If they truly love her as who she is, I'm sure they'll come around. And finally Lucius makes an appearence! It's so good to see him back in good health! He has gone through so much, I'm glad he has the support he needs. I was also surprised to see Narcissa being civil to Hermione, and it's about time too. She has a long way to go, but at least she's making an effort. Anyways, hope Hermione is okay. Wonder why she fainted in the first place? She can't be having the baby already, can she? Again, my curiosity is running wild again. Another fantastic chapter! As for the reviews you've gotten, you deserve them! Update soon! Cheers! Author's Response: her parents ticked me off some (and i wrote the bligthers) lol. you have valid points, and i will likely stick that in when they have their next 'talk' with each other i'm glad lucius is better now as well. i love fics that he is actually a 'nice' guy in. Poor Narcissa. hahaha... she's trying, which is a good thing. About Hermione, I'm thinking it's just the stress, the disappointment, lack of eating properly, preggie issues, and such. She'll be fine. | Oy! Poor Hermione--her parents were quite rough with her...not even listening to her explanation before basically telling her to get out of their lives until they thought she had grown up enough to realize what is best...(Severus should have hexed them...) Hopefully it is just her not having eaten breakfast that made her faint...low blood sugar and all that...Glad that she is impartial in her handing out of points...Chapter was excellent! Love the story...can't wait for the next update...soon PLEASE!!?! Author's Response: Her parents were a bit mean, i think. | *Winna sniffs the air*. I do believe I caught a whiff of Dark!Harry. Lucky for everyone Dumbledore did his omniscient thing and stopped him from going to Bellatrix. And I hope Hermione knows what she's doing, trying to spy on Bella; I think it's a bad idea. I thought Hermione's parents acted in a believeable way, but I think they'll come around when their grandchild is born. | The big 4-0 is indeeed approaching. Wow. I remember reading the first chapter of this story when you first posted it, and thinking, 'I'm going to love this story. I hope it's a long one!'
What happened to Hermione? Oh, I hope she doesn't lose the baby - that would certainly bring her parents to their senses, I think, but a reconciliation with them isn't worth the life of their little one :(
Then again, if she wasn't pregnant anymore the Incubus might try and make another appearance, and the story can go on and on and on! I'd like that!
