| I was really touched my the whole father figure dynamics of Albus/Severus and Severus/Harry. I made a tear come to my eye, it was so sweet, in a sad way. I like the character development in this chapter. Well done, keep those chapters coming. | Poor Draco! I can't believe he was forced to do that...! No doubt he felt he was digging his own grave... And Severus has become rather possessive, hasn't he? ;) It's understandable though, after all he's been through. And I love the way he thinks of Hermione; it's just very obvious how much she means to him. I wonder if he'll ever be able to really declare his love to her while she's actually awake? Should be fun to see... Keep it coming, I can't wait to "see" what happens! | Severus was getting pretty soft there. I appreciate that you did show reluctance on his part but I still feel that he went too soft too fast. The moment that he shared with Albus was beautifully written and believable. Ron loves that Draco baits him? Is this a hint of a luv connection to come? Draco's shock about the diary was a fabulous touch to the story and is something that I think everyone can relate to. The ugly secrets that our mentors and parents have. You put in more Rolanda! I love her attitude, she's fabulous and very down to earth; she's pretty earthy too hehehe.
I can see that Harry has adjusted to his losses over the years but logically he should still be very unstable mentally. You've shown that with his inability to control his magic when tensions run high, but what about his interactions with other people? In my limited psychological knowledge, I would think that Harry would initially rebel against Severus' befriending him. Harry would probably know that rebelling is unfair to Severus since Harry's losses are not Severus' fault but losing Sirius and Remus would still hurt deeply and anyone trying to share that position with Harry's memory of those two...Well, I would think his reaction would initially be similar to Severus reaction to Draco's kiss. Just my opinions, take em or leave em or burn em or use them as papier mache or anything else you can think of. Thank you for the rapid updates and for being such a fabulous authoress. Author's Response: no ron/draco thing. he just enjoys the bickering. and, yes, i don't think draco (like most of us) really knows all his father has done. lol! as far as sev being soft w/ harry, well, as he thought is mostly out of respect for lily and the realization that he is not like james. i think i put in there somewhere that he was bitter that she had someone else's child and not his. he's getting over that finally! as far as harry, sirius has been dead nearly two years. remus stepped in, but when he saw that snape grieved for lupin, it was then that it dawned on him that snape was a human. And, he remembers how snape seemed to 'care' when he thought harry had fallen with voldemort. just a lot of things. Harry is just growing up, but yes his emotions run high at times. it is also another reason severus feels the need to guide him. i think he reminds him a bit of himself. harry will have to deal with something soon, and thanks to sev all will be well. i'm trying to lead up to it lol it was harry who approached sev first about 'friendship'. i think he's just lonely. no dad. no sirius. no remus. then the idea that his mother actually did like severus at some point appeals to him. sort of like, well, if he was good enough for her..then... plus he found out sev tried to save his parents... lol.. damn but i am rambling! thanks, doll! | |||

| I loved this chapter. I am sensing that Harry's presence as dark and evil in Snape's earlier dream might have been a foreshadowing of what is to come. Please don't make this like Star Wars! We dnn't *want* Harry to turn to the Dark Side and become Darth Potter! Author's Response: lol... trust me.. no darth harry here, but there will be slight temptation to do something not exactly good. sev will guide him though. more up as soon as i can get it in | |||

| I'm sure the "muggle" professor is not the informant but maybe I'm wrong.
This chapter was very weird. I think it was anything but lighter. Sometimes, an angsty note is a good thing in a story.
