| I actually really liked this chapter.. the first part was gruesome, but I actually relly like dark Snape. I actually appreciated the segway back into him as dark and self-serving and possessive after so much of their relationship growing and him having her, so what next, type thing.

| I see nothing wrong with the content of this chapter except for the possibility of Hermione's reaction to Severus's anger at Rudolphus. I mean, this IS Severus! Did she expect that once she was kidnapped, her arm broken, and the 'mad slasher' preparing to do "artwork" on her until she expired, that all SS was going to do was slap him on the wrist and send him on his way with a warning no to touch his woman again? Hermione is young but can she be THAT naive about who and what Severus is, how he ticks?
Do not fret over lack of 'reviews' ... it's not your stories! Author's Response: ahahah! I love your review. You sound just like me! Mostly she was shocked to see someone killed in such a way and shocked that she was moments away from being killed. We'll see her thoughts in the next chapter. I do adore feedback, especially when I'm worried over a certain portion of the plot. I always fear people will say, "Oh, hell, no!" and leave. lol. | |||

| Great chapter! Lots of action and angst! I just now caught my breath. LOL
Hermione had to find out eventually that Snape is very dark. I feel sorry for Harry, though. Has he really lost someone else? *Sigh* Can't wait for the next chapter! this chapter is not only all right, I thougt it great! You kept all of them in character nicely. I truly believe Snape to be a dark man - after all, that's what makes him so fascinating ;-) - and working on his own agenda. His not realising if and what he feels for Hermione and his urge to keep what is his would always make him act the way you described.
Additionally, I like the way your Hermione is finally starting to understand the man. Took her long enough, but she is still young and weren't we all a bit daft at that age? Better make that naive... :-)
Anyway, I really enjoy your story, please keep up the good work, and whenever the muse doesn't kiss you, send me a word, and I'll happily provide any amount of finest dark chocolate to stimulate the goddess!

| What can I say? As much as I don't like seeing the dark Severus, it is a realitisic senerio. I really feel for Hermione. She just received a huge wakeup call about the man she loves.
