This is one of the best Snape and Hermione stories I have read. I absolutely loved it.

Wow, that was awesome. I was getting really scared when I started reading her dream and he told her to let him go...my eyes started filling up and everything. You are such a talented writer, and I hope to read anything you create in the future. Good Luck!

Author's Response: Thanks for reading! Sorry about the tears, I couldn't help but to add in one last bit of "emotional stuff." Hehe

oh wow.... lovely ending right there... I'm sad to see the end in a way, but it ended so beautifully that it also makes me feel content. Congratulations on a wonderful and enchanting story. =) Cheers Velvet xox

I just sat and read this entire things while, eh, "working" -- it's an amazing story! You have a great way of developing characters, and you seem to connect well with them and their intentions.

Author's Response: LOL! Working, is it? teehee! Thank you for reading. I am happy that you enjoyed this. I do sort of get into my storyline and try to think like my character would. That might not be good, eh? LOL

I think it an excellent ending to a wonderful story. I also agree with you that I don't think it needs an epilogue, but the reader in me wouldn't be opposed to one!

Author's Response: Thank you for reading. I'm happy you liked it. I'm still undecided on the epilogue. I hate to "ruin" things.

This was an excellent story. I thought the characters were very much true to form. I like the way the relationship developed between Severus and Hermione. Thanks for a great story.

Author's Response: Excellent! I'm happy you liked it.

Dear Southern. I think I already told you, but some things bear to be repeated. I really appreciate all the effort you have put into creating this wonderful tale. And I think the ending was just perfect. Particularly tying up the end with Lucius. Perhaps there is hope for the wizarding world and not just for Snape and Hermione. One thing though that sort of struck me through the story is your use of "his witch" or "her wizard". I know this is the words some will use, but I find it strange in the mouth of a Britsih male of relative social standing in the late 30s or early 40s. I can't really see him using that kind of expression... Oh well, what a detail, I know. Good luck with your original work. I look forward to seeing it in the bookstore! /Brisinggammen

Author's Response: Thanks for reading. My reasoning for him saying "his witch" is to show possessiveness. She's his witch, and he won't see it any other way. I didn't let her say "her wizard" until she had feelings of possessiveness either to sort of balance things out.

I don't believe any other characters used this. I try to keep that just to my possessive Snape. It was indeed something I did purposely and wasn't trying to mimick any British lingo, associated with age, or anything like that. My husband is 47, and he calls me his witch while I call him my warlock. Just an affectionate thing, I suppose. Anyway, while it might sound odd for Snape to say, it seems to fit "this" Snape perfectly--to me anyway.

But I just wonder what Brit's say? Do they not say my boyfriend or my girlfriend? It's nearly the same thing. I just wanted to show his way of feeling and the depth. Hope I explained that right.

WOW. I am at a loss for words. What a beautiful ending. I enjoyed reading along and sharing this journey with you, and I am sad it's over. But there's always the next fic, isn't there?smiles* Kudos on an amazing tale. As always, The Grim

Author's Response: Thanks, Grim. I really appreciate the support throughout! I'll have something else up soon. Cheers
