| i don't understand what you mean in your notes there.... why feel sorry for Lucius? Or why not feel sorry for him? Just because he's trying to find a way to save himself doesn't mean anything. It's the same thing that you have Severus doing. The Severus Snape that you've written is no different. He's trying to play both sides of the fence so that he can live no matter what happens. Author's Response: I feel sorry for him, for being misguided and such, but then, I don't because he brought it upon himself. I think as the story progresses, I'll like him even more. Who wouldn't respect someone for trying to save their family? Severus is very much on the fence here. As you pointed out, that's worse than Lucius. At least Lucius is willing to sell to the highest bidder, eh? I'm rambling. I suppose I meant that I'm not going to say, "Aww! Lucius!" Not until he proves himself. More up soon. | |||

| I just love it how you got some HBP information in there and that you got rid of the misunderstanding that Snape is a rich and a pureblood. Author's Response: Thank you. Right, I wanted them to be on more common ground, I suppose. I had every intention of having a Snape that wasn't all that well off. It just helped that canon went along with that! hehe | |||

| *grumbles* some people! how dare they gripe about that? this is a great story! you've a wonderful perspective on snape (especially interesting since HBP came out, too) and incorporating things from HBP is a good idea (if well done, like yours). you've not said much about snape's background before this so why are they whining as we get more insight into your character?! *grumbles* i hate people. you're wonderful southern, don't let them get to you!, Author's Response: I know what you mean... grrrrr I say! lol More up tonight, doll.
