| I kept wondering whose dream it was going to be - Harry's/Hermione's or Snapes. Snape made the most sense at the end. So my prediction of major angst wasn't quite right and I kept thinking why isn't she stringing him out a bit more, but then he got his commuppance at the end (OK, that won't be a popular reading of it but it's mine.) Sev's being a bastard and I like that his plan got foiled. Really nice chappy. Author's Response: Glad you caught on. Some didnt and were not amused. teehee... | dont' know what to say, you rended me speachless. I had to stop reading the first part of the chapter, as I hated it. I hate Potter, I hated Mione for asking for it, so I stopped reading, wondering what had happened to my favourite author to write bullshit like that. but then it came to me. 'she wouldn't write something like that, something must be wrong, she can't have had this in mind, there must be motives for writing that part' so I continued and was almost relieved when Sev kiled him 'although whispering a small 'no' as then the story would be over to soon. And then he woke up and I squeed, It was all just a bad dream.... Sun wasn't going mental after all, she was being brilliant! No worries about the part where sev cast the killing curse, you can jsut feel his hatred.
and then the end came near, and when I read 'Southern's Notes' my brains stopped working, nothing came out, the only clue as to whether I was alive or not coming from the silent tears I was shedding....wonderfull chapter! hope more will be up soon. cheers! | ouch. yup, they certainly do need to talk. i liked this chapter though. not that it was necessariy happy, but that it was thoughtful and needed. yet again, i notice, you also delay the "consumation" we'll call it. that's fine by me. there'd be no story if it didn't all build up to the final moment...dun dun DUN! *pauses for dramatic effect* thanks for the update! -The Grim Author's Response: Their talk is a good one. | Oh, no .... Severus finally gets her alone and fumbles. Hmm, at least Hermione's talking quietly, and has seen his mood (self-castigation? remorse?). I assume Harry-Gabrielle and Ron-Pansy are occupied, and that Lupin will be unhappy that Tonks the Auror has deliberately kept Ginny and Draco's whereabouts to herself. That Tonks really is unimpressing me, ever since HBP and her own version of "oh, Won-Won!" ("oh, Re-Re"?). Powerful Metamorphmagus, my eye! So your characterization of her is pretty spot-on, unfortunately. Sigh... How long must I beg for your next suspenseful chapter, oh Wicked Witch of the South? | Trying to figure out why Hermoine was so upset. She is an intelligent person. I can't believe she didn't read up on what happens your first time. Or had to listen to her roommates. | Southern. -- I have to completely agree with your note. I would imagine that Bella is quite capable of casting the Killing Curse will in the throws of ecstasy, I believe that it is very likely that you don't even have to hate the person that you are casting it against as long as you can tape into that strong emotion. After all, Bella told Harry that you had to mean it to cast an Unforgivable. --- As for this chapter you were right, it was completely evil to end where you did, but I can understand it. --- I have known men like Severus who think that by not doing what they say they are going to somehow it will make you miss them more. I personally think that they completely miss the point. --- As for Lupin, depending on how long ago Tonks was at the cave I would certainly expect that he would be able to identify the scent of his lover. And then boy will she have some explaining to do. --- I wait with bated breath to see what comes next. -- B Author's Response: I agree. That fat Death Eater was cackling when he cast those Crucio's to Ginny in HBP, so I'm thinking as long as the hate is within, it works. Severus certainly went about things the wrong way.
