| The conversation between Dumbledore and Hermione was actually pretty interesting. The calculating side of the headmaster is not often discussed and I get the impression he wanted to make sure she still had feelings for Severus. Then she can continue being the perfect leverage on the double agent when it is time for him to choose sides. The influence Hermione has had has been amazing, no? Without her relationship with Severus they would have had no clue about the imminent attack. I loved that the parchment indirectly worked to locate Voldie. I was initially thinking that the side of the Light might be the one to attack first but alas, they are always on the defensive.
As for who will win, well I would prefer Harry killing Tom but if that is not what the future holds my dear southern, then at least let him live to fight another day. Didn't the centaurs see an injured Severus? | |||

| Southern ~ Well to be completely honest I figured that you would end it here. If Severus wants to live with Hermione and have her willingly then Harry has to win. That is not to say that Harry has to live just that Voldemort has to be destroyed. I am somewhat of a romantic so I will be hoping that the couples survive. If you feel the need to kill off any of the Trio, my vote would be Ron. What can I say he is so not my favorite character. | Poor Harry. So Gabrielle is really dead? Or will Voldemort use her to weaken Harry? I'm glad Severus chose to warn Albus. Gives me hope that the good guys have a chance. Will we be stuck with just Hermione's experience in the battle? I think that would be an evil temptation for you... leaving us wondering. We'll see next chapter if you sport horns or not. ;D Author's Response: For now, I'm keeping her as dead, yes. I toyed with having her found, but I don't think I will. The battle, unfortunately, is mostly Hermione's POV. I have a reason for it though. **Pushes horns down** Anyway, I hope you do enjoy it. | |||
